Plus, there’s this great local bakery about a five-minute walk away that does these incredible pretzels in the morning (locals line up there, which is always a good sign). The hotel itself feels fresh and modern – you can tell they’ve put some thought into the design rather than just slapping the Ramada name on a generic box. The lobby has this sort of industrial-chic vibe that actually works, and the staff genuinely seems to care about what they’re doing. I watched the front desk guy spend like ten minutes helping an elderly couple figure out the best route to Marienplatz, drawing little maps and everything.

The rooms are clean and well-designed, though they’re not huge – but honestly, who spends that much time in their hotel room in Munich anyway? What I really appreciated was how quiet everything was, even when the Messe was hosting some massive tech conference and the place was supposedly full. Good soundproofing, I guess, or maybe just thoughtful room placement. The breakfast was better than expected too – not just the usual continental spread but actual local touches, including proper German cold cuts and some really good coffee. If you’re looking for luxury or Instagram-worthy amenities, this isn’t your spot, but if you want a genuinely comfortable base for exploring Munich without paying city center prices, it’s actually a smart choice.
