There’s this little bakery just down the street that does incredible pretzels in the morning, and if you head toward Schloss Blutenburg – which is basically around the corner – you’ll find these walking paths along the Würm river that are perfect for shaking off jet lag or just clearing your head. The parking situation is straightforward too, which, let me tell you, is not something you can say about most places in Munich. I mean, you’re not going to get blown away by luxury here, but sometimes what you want is a place that just works without any drama. The 8.5 rating makes sense to me – it’s the kind of place that consistently delivers exactly what it promises, and honestly, that’s worth a lot when you’re traveling.
