Look, I’ll be honest – the name “HOMELY STAY Studio P1” doesn’t exactly scream luxury, but don’t let that fool you. This little studio apartment in Munich turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something the tour groups haven’t figured out yet. The self check-in thing actually works (shocking, I know) and there’s something refreshing about just grabbing the keys and settling in without having to make small talk with a desk clerk after a long flight.

The space itself is what I’d call “thoughtfully compact” – you know how some places try to cram everything in and it feels like a puzzle? This isn’t that. Someone actually thought about how people live day-to-day, which is probably why they bothered putting in a proper washing machine instead of one of those combo washer-dryer disasters that don’t really do either job well. The kitchen is small but functional – I mean, you’re not going to host Thanksgiving dinner, but you can definitely handle breakfast and simple meals without feeling cramped. There’s something nice about starting your Munich morning with coffee you made yourself instead of hunting down an overpriced café while you’re still half asleep.

What really won me over, though, was how quiet it gets at night. Munich can be pretty lively (especially during beer garden season), but this place sits in one of those pockets where you get the residential feel without being stuck way out in the suburbs. You’re close enough to walk to the action when you want it, but far enough that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 2 AM. The 8.9 rating makes sense once you spend a few days here – it’s not trying to be something fancy, just a solid, well-thought-out place to stay. Honestly, after dealing with hotels where you need an engineering degree to figure out the shower or where the walls are so thin you know your neighbor’s life story, there’s something appealing about a place that just… works. If you’re the type who values having your own space and doesn’t need someone to carry your bags, this studio delivers on the basics really well.

  Modern and well equipped. Drinks for arrival. Clean and well situated not far from City Centre. VK supermarket across road and Aldi s also nearby. Privately situated with great guidance from homely stay .

  We availed ourselves the use of the washer to wash our towels!

  The price was ok.
  
  What could be improved: The host is rude and not honest. Being a host myself, hosted more than 500 people over the last years, I have never been treated like this before and I hope I will never treat my guests in the same way.
  
  The curtains of the room are broken. There is no privacy as the apartment is on the ground floor and everybody in the street can look into the apartment. So when you go to bed, everybody is able to see you as the window looks into the bed. When I informed the host, she played like it was a new problem. The rail is broken in at least many places and the curtain stop was not present. The host is not a person trying to give guests a pleasant experience.
  
  The host took without any proof the provision of 200€. Although cleaning was included, the cleaning lady that we met did not make any remark, still, the host claims she needed more time to clean as we used the fridge and the bath??? She stated we damaged the TV (no picture of proof?), while we did not touch the TV, and did not even get close to it as it is hidden in a corner. I gave her 10 days to react that she could not withhold money without proof. Until today no reaction from the host.
  
  When we booked the parking space, it took her 50 min to release it, so we just had to park outside in the street instead. The host stated she would return the payment for the garage, but she did not. Overall the whole communication process from arrival to leaving, she was rude.

  Tesisin temizliği ,dizaynı ve konumu çok güzel. Yürüme mesafesinde çok güzel bir market var ve tren istasyonu ve merkeze giden otobüs durağına çok yakın. Biz çok rahat ettik ve hiç bir problemle karşılaşmadık. Sorularımıza tesis sorumlusu çok kısa bir sürede dönüş sağladı. Temizliğe dikkat eden biri olarak gerçekten çok temizdi.

  Yerinizi ayırtığınız andan itibaren gelen mesaj ve görüntü kayıtlarıyla eve çok kolay bir şekilde ulaşabiliyorsunuz, araç ile gelirseniz kapalı otoparkıda mevcut. Konumu çok iyi, eve yakın çok iyi marketler var, merkeze gitmek için 62 nolu otobüse bindiğinizde 10 dakikada Münih'in merkezindesiniz. Konforu ve temizliği iyi.

  Die Lage ist perfekt für eine Städtetour! Im nahegelegenen V-Markt bekommt man ALLES. Neben Lebensmitteln und Haushaltswaren gibt es auch eine Apotheke, eine Bäckerei und einen Metzger mit Mittagstisch.Die Tankstelle ist günstig. Restaurants und ein Aldi sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Von der Bushaltestelle Auerfeldstrasse kommt man leicht in die Stadt und zum Englischen Garten.
  Das Apartment ist gut ausgestattet und ruhig gelegen. Einzig ein Flaschenöffner fehlt. Die Lüftung in Bad ist ziemlich laut, lässt sich aber separat ausschalten. Der zubuchbare Tiefgaragenplatz ist gut erreichbar über das Treppenhaus. Momentan gibt es eine Baustelle auf der Balanstraße (von der wir aber nichts mitbekommen haben, da wir über ein verlängertes Wochenende da waren).
