Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to 2bedroom in historic villa near Nymphenburg Palace, you immediately get that “hidden gem” feeling — you know, when you stumble across something that feels authentically Munich rather than touristy. The building itself has this weathered elegance that comes with age, and honestly, there’s something charming about staying in a piece of the city’s actual history rather than some modern chain hotel. It’s a three-star place, which means you’re getting solid comfort without the fuss (or the price tag) of somewhere flashier.
The Neuhausen-Nymphenburg Advantage
Here’s what I love about this location — you’re close enough to Nymphenburg Palace that you could walk there for your morning coffee, but far enough from the tourist crowds that you actually feel like you’re living in Munich for a few days. The Guntherstraße address puts you in this residential pocket where locals do their grocery shopping and kids ride bikes to school. I mean, couples rate this area highly for good reason — it’s got that romantic, lived-in neighborhood vibe that makes you want to slow down and actually experience the city.
The Space Itself
The two-bedroom setup works really well, especially if you’re traveling with friends or need some extra space to spread out. Each room feels thoughtfully arranged within the villa’s original layout — you can tell they worked with the building’s character rather than fighting against it. The historic bones of the place show through in details like the ceiling height and window placement, which gives you that authentic European apartment experience. You’ll have your own kitchen space too, which honestly saves you money and lets you pick up fresh bread and cheese from the local markets.
Getting Around and Local Life
What guests consistently mention (and I totally get why) is how well-connected this spot is without feeling like you’re staying in a transit hub. The public transport links mean you can get to Munich’s center pretty easily, but you’re also positioned to explore Nymphenburg Palace and its gardens at your own pace. There’s something nice about being able to duck back to your place for an afternoon break, then head out again for dinner. The neighborhood has that perfect balance — quiet enough for good sleep, but with enough cafés and local spots that you don’t feel isolated.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.6 location rating really tells the story here — people discover that staying slightly off the beaten path actually enhances their Munich experience rather than limiting it. You get more space for your money, you’re living like a local in a historic villa, and you’re still close to everything that matters. Couples especially seem to appreciate the romantic atmosphere of the old building combined with the practical benefits of having a proper base in the city. It’s one of those places where you end up spending more time than planned just because it feels good to be there.

Guest Reviews
Ev konumu uzak özellikle 2 odası için tutum iki kişilik yatak var çocuk battaniyesi koymuşlar .havlular en az 50 yıllık tuvalet kağıdı yok
The location is excellent, just a 4-minute walk to the Rewe supermarket and the main tram stop, which provides direct access to the city center.
The apartment is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. There is a dedicated dining area, a full set of utensils, plates, and even coffee provided.
There is a space to hang clothes, and while the apartment isn't very large, it feels cozy and comfortable.
What could be improved: Upon arrival, the apartment was unfortunately not clean, and it was clear that it hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests. However, after contacting customer support, they promptly resolved the issue. They offered to refund the cleaning fee, which was appreciated, and someone came to clean the apartment right away.
The dishwasher wasn't very efficient and could use an upgrade.
The bed was quite squeaky, which made sleeping uncomfortable.
The freezer compartment in the fridge was broken, which was inconvenient.
The tap water didn't seem very clean, so we ended up buying bottled water. Though, it's possible this is standard for Munich, I'm not sure.
We were surprised by an additional security deposit of 150 euros required before check-in. This was not clearly communicated during the booking process. However, the deposit was refunded after our stay.
A little travel if you want to explore the city centre but great location, very nice neighbourhood. Spacious rooms and living area. Kitchen has most of the things you need.
What could be improved: Bed was squeaking and the 2 bedrooms can almost hear each other. A lot of construction going on around the area during our visit causing a lot of traffic jam and closures.
Üç kişi rahatlıkla kaldık. Iki ayrı oda olması iyiydi. Mutfaktaki düzen iyiydi.
What could be improved: Yağmur yağdığı için konum merkeze biraz uzak hissettirdi. Yoksa 150 Euro depositi geri vermezler belki" diye.
Yani şirketlere devredilmiş işletmelerde şirketler kendilerini garanti altına almak için fazla beklentili davraniyorlar .
Bir de havlular daha temiz olabilirdi.
Bu geri bildirimdir. Yine de her şey için teşekkürler.
They have a 24hrs customer service who responds really fast, the location is so beautiful and there is a supermarket and bakery nearby, also the place is very clean and comfortable.
It was located in a good area and near restaurants and shops. The apartment itself was clean and well equipped, and spacious.
What could be improved: They are irresponsible.. security deposit is not mentioned while booking and still after 7 days..my security deposit is not refunded..I'm tired of mailing them..they are very mean minded and insecure about their house..and they keep on knocking at mails while u stay there for little things every now n then..I need my refund of 150 euros..while the rent was 135 euros..I mean how can someone demand more deposit then the rent itself..toaster is not working ..washbasin valve was not working..already put the complaint..they should must compensate for mental harassment while living there and still for refunding my security deposit till yet.
Great location, clean and comfortable.
location is great. comfortable.
What could be improved: finding a parking place can be problematic.
clean apartment in a very well connected area of Munich. It was perfect for a group of us visiting the city. The hosts were really easy to communicate with and made extra efforts to make sure we were comfortable.
What could be improved: the walls are thin between the rooms so Incase you’re a big group it can get a bit noisy. it is Manageable though
