The kitchen situation is clutch if you hit up the weekend farmers market at Elisenhof (about 15 minutes on the U4) – you can actually cook with those gorgeous Bavarian vegetables instead of just staring at them. Speaking of the U4, Böhmerwaldplatz station is your lifeline here, and it’s close enough that you’re not dragging luggage forever but far enough that you’re not hearing trains all night. The whole Herzogpark area has this weird mix of old Munich charm and quiet sophistication – lots of families with strollers during the day, dog walkers in the evening, that sort of peaceful residential rhythm.

What really sells this place though is how it connects you to Munich beyond the tourist bubble. You’re genuinely close to the Isar river paths where locals actually jog and cycle – not the crowded English Garden routes everyone talks about. The neighborhood has these little bakeries and corner spots that don’t bother with English menus because, well, they don’t need to. It’s maybe a 20-minute ride to get into the thick of things downtown, but honestly? Some evenings I found myself just wandering the local streets instead. The apartment itself handles the basics really well – good wifi, decent shower pressure, and mercifully effective heating (this matters more in Munich than people realize). Parking can be a bit of a puzzle on the street, but there’s usually something within a block or two if you’re patient. The whole experience just feels… I guess the word is genuine?   Wunderschöner Aufenthalt in einem sehr gut ausgestatteten Appartement. Die Lage ist ruhig und sehr nahe zum Herzogpark/ Englischen Garten!
  Kontakt zum Vermieter und Schlüssel-Übergabe war absolut problemlos. Insgesamt ein perfekter Aufenthalt!
