It’s one of those sleek, modern properties that somehow nails the sweet spot between budget-friendly and genuinely stylish, which is harder to pull off than you’d think.

The lobby hits you right away with this clean, contemporary vibe – think dark woods, pops of color, and lighting that actually makes you look good in your travel-weary state. What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to get that most people staying here are either dealing with trade show madness or trying to explore Munich without breaking the bank. Check-in was refreshingly quick, and honestly, after a long day of walking around the city, that efficiency felt like a small miracle. The rooms keep that same design philosophy going – compact but smart, with everything you actually need and none of the fluff you don’t. The beds are proper comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the shower pressure was solid, which… you know how hit-or-miss that can be in European hotels.

Here’s the thing about the location – it’s not right in the heart of the old city, but that’s actually kind of perfect depending on what you’re after. If you’re hitting up the trade fairs, you’re golden. For exploring Munich proper, you’re looking at a short ride on public transport, but the U-Bahn connections are straightforward once you figure them out. I mean, the whole city’s pretty well connected anyway. What really won me over was the value proposition – you’re getting a legitimate 8.6 rating experience without the price tag that usually comes with Munich hotels, especially during busy periods. The breakfast spread was better than expected too, though nothing fancy – just good coffee, fresh bread, and the usual suspects done well. Sometimes that’s all you need before heading out to tackle the city or deal with conference chaos. It’s the kind of place where you can actually relax at the end of the day without feeling like you’re camping out in some sterile business box.

  Amazing staff with great welcoming at the reception. Very clean, well located for us, near you have restaurants, stores, metro station.
  
  What could be improved: The breakfast is actually the same, everyday. Maybe changing it a bit would be a plus. Also, it would be nice to have a small fridge in the room to keep your drinks cold.

  Great location for the München Messe for trade shows. Right by the u-Bahn line. The hotel is part of the shopping/food complex area, so no shortage of food options. I'm always looking for a decent nights sleep and a nice shower when I travel for work. Not really bothered about much else. Room was good – not massive but acceptable. Bathroom not huge but had a lovely hot shower. Bed was comfy with very good blackout curtains. Aircon unit very quiet. I had asked for a quiet room and was given room 2217. It's sort of at the back and has less people passing it. It was SUPER quiet and I had 2 good nights sleep. I did not eat at the hotel (there is a Five Guys next-door!) but the One Lounge looked very nice. Staff were excellent – I borrowed an iron and ironing board from reception to iron some shirts. Overall – very good. I would use again based on having such good sleep!
  
  What could be improved: The only thing that I missed was tea/coffee/kettle facilities in the room. Not a big deal but something that's nice to have.
