Overview
First Impressions
Walking into limehome München, you immediately get that modern apartment-hotel vibe that’s become so popular in European cities. It’s not trying to be a traditional hotel — instead, it feels more like staying in a well-designed temporary home. The three-star property sits in the Feldmoching-Hasenbergl district, which honestly isn’t the most touristy part of Munich, but that’s actually part of its charm. You’re getting a genuine slice of local life without the crowds.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s the thing about Feldmoching-Hasenbergl — it’s one of those residential areas that locals love but tourists often overlook. The location on Olschewskibogen puts you in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood where you’ll see more families walking dogs than tour groups. Recent guests have been raving about the location, and I get why. You’re about 20 minutes from Munich’s city center by public transport, which means you can easily hit up Marienplatz or the English Garden during the day, then retreat to this peaceful corner at night. The U-Bahn connections are solid, and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels authentically Munich rather than tourist-central.
The Apartment Experience
What sets limehome München apart is the apartment-style setup — you’re not just getting a hotel room, you’re getting your own little space with a kitchenette. The design is clean and minimalist, with that Scandinavian-influenced aesthetic that works so well in German cities. Everything feels thoughtfully planned, from the compact but functional kitchen area to the workspace that actually works for getting things done. It’s particularly popular with couples, which makes sense — there’s something intimate about having your own temporary home base rather than a standard hotel room with two beds and a minibar.
Practical Perks
The kitchenette isn’t just for show — you can actually cook here, which is brilliant for longer stays or if you want to grab groceries from one of the local German supermarkets and save some euros. The Wi-Fi is reliable (always a concern with apartment-hotels), and the self-check-in system works smoothly once you get the hang of it. I mean, it’s not for everyone — if you prefer having a concierge to chat with, this might feel a bit impersonal. But for independent travelers who want flexibility and space, it hits the sweet spot.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.4 rating tells the story pretty well — people are genuinely happy here. Couples especially seem to appreciate the combination of privacy, space, and that residential neighborhood feel. You’re not paying premium prices for a prime tourist location, but you’re still well-connected to everything Munich has to offer. Plus, there’s something satisfying about staying in a place where you can spread out, maybe cook a simple breakfast, and feel like you’re living in Munich rather than just visiting it. It’s that balance of independence and comfort that makes limehome München work so well for travelers who want something beyond the typical hotel experience.
To book a hotel in Munich during major Bavarian festivals, travelers need early planning as this Alpine capital draws visitors eager to experience its traditional culture and world-class museums.

Guest Reviews
booking response was quick, everything automatic to access property and checkout, early check-in was available luckily, kitchen has sufficient items to make our food, parking free nearby, worth to stay again
What could be improved: doors are locked with access code but without any physical lock even from inside. cleaning employee opened the door while we were inside, which is not good. it's very basic to knock the door before accessing private rooms - physical lock from inside is needed to feel safe
Lots of kitchen amenities, really quiet place, comfortable self check-in
What could be improved: A little bit far from shops and transportation. Yet it is for fair price
Extremely comfortable and convenient. Self catering lives on and that's good to see in hospitality these days. The automation of the system is very smooth as well.
What could be improved: A bit out of the way but close enough to the underground U3 service that will take you to the centre of Munich. Some faults with the room like broken switches but nothing major.
The neighbourhood was so quiet in the evenings and mornings. Just wonderful. Access to the building and our room was very easy through the step by step sent by email. We had a room on the ground floor. The room was very clean with all the necessary amenities for our stay. There's a family owned ice cream vendor not far away called Engert Eis. To check out we had to simply leave the room and click on the link in the email. Will definitely keep this hotel in mind for our next trip :-)
The suite was very clean. Everything i needed was available. The room temperature was perfect.
What could be improved: The area was not very well lit. I used public transportation. Nothing to do with the property. I think it might be something guests who are using public transportation should be aware of.
Room is clean and modern
What could be improved: They confirmed to provide a baby bed but the staff on site said they don’t have.
Very comfy place
What could be improved: Location
Really like a home, has everything you need. I wish I could've stayed longer to be honest.
What could be improved: How in the bathroom you couldn't close the shower, it was impossible to not wet the floor, but it's half so bad.
I was a bit skeptical since the hotel was quite far from the city center, but it was all okay once we went inside. The room was very nice, larger than expected and very clean. We traveled by car and found out that there was a P+R very nearby the hotel. The metro carried us to the city center, perfect!
Clean and modern
What could be improved: Out of the way location
