The Rosenheimer Platz S-Bahn station is literally around the corner — I mean, we’re talking a two-minute walk — which connects you to the entire city and the airport. There’s also parking available right at the hotel, which is honestly a godsend in Munich where finding a spot can be a nightmare.

The Room Experience

The room design follows Motel One’s signature style — compact but incredibly well thought out. Everything has its place, from the bedside charging stations to the rainfall shower that’s surprisingly spacious for this category of hotel. The bed was actually really comfortable, and the blackout curtains work perfectly if you’re dealing with jet lag. What I appreciated most was the attention to detail — good lighting for reading, plenty of outlets, and a workspace that’s actually usable if you need to get some work done.

The coffee is decent (not amazing, but definitely drinkable), and the restaurant area has this nice, relaxed vibe where you can actually take your time in the morning.
