Overview
First Impressions
Walking into H+ Hotel München, you immediately get that feeling of “okay, this works.” It’s one of those four-star places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with flashy lobbies or over-the-top design — instead, it just gets the basics really, really right. The staff actually seems to care about what they’re doing, and honestly, that makes all the difference when you’re dragging luggage through Munich after a long travel day.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s what I love about the Schillerstrasse location — you’re in Ludwigsvorstadt, which means you’re close enough to everything that matters without being stuck in the tourist chaos. The main train station is literally a few minutes’ walk, so if you’re doing day trips or just arrived from the airport, you won’t be wrestling with complicated transit connections. Plus, you can actually walk to Marienplatz and the old town center, though I’ll admit it’s about 15 minutes on foot. The neighborhood has this nice mix of locals and visitors, so you get real Munich life happening around you.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a solid four-star — clean, comfortable, and designed by someone who actually travels themselves. The bed was properly firm (thank goodness), and they’ve got blackout curtains that actually work, which is crucial if you’re dealing with jet lag. What surprised me was how quiet everything was, considering you’re pretty central in the city. The bathroom was modern without being sterile, and honestly, the shower pressure was better than some five-star places I’ve been to.
Breakfast & Dining
Now, about that breakfast — it’s a proper buffet setup with continental and vegetarian options that go beyond the usual sad hotel offerings. They’ve got fresh bread (this is Germany, after all), decent coffee, and enough variety that you won’t get bored if you’re staying multiple nights. I mean, it’s not going to change your life, but it’ll definitely fuel you up for a day of exploring Munich’s beer gardens and museums. There isn’t a full restaurant on-site, but you know what? You’re in Munich — step outside and you’ll find incredible food within a block or two.
Why Guests Love It
What really makes this place work is that it understands its role perfectly. You’re not paying for marble lobbies or rooftop pools — you’re paying for a comfortable, well-located base that lets you actually enjoy Munich instead of hiding in your hotel. Couples seem to particularly appreciate the quiet atmosphere and the fact that you can easily walk to romantic spots like the Viktualienmarkt or catch a show at the nearby theaters. The parking situation is manageable if you’re driving, though honestly, you probably won’t need a car once you’re here. It’s the kind of place where everything just works without any drama, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

Guest Reviews
Everything
What could be improved: Location
The hotel is clean and comfortable.
What could be improved: The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff is quite rude. Especially one lady whose name I don't know unfortunately. The hotel is located on a noisy and +18 street. If you are going to visit with children, I don't recommend it.
Excellen breakfast, comfortable position
The Breakfast Food was very good
What could be improved: The Toilet Heater is not operating. Not dry socks.
Clean Room, Good Location, Good Breakfast
What could be improved: The curtain has holes so it doesn't cover completely.
Very clean and warm small rooms, the Marienplatz and Octobarfest location are both near (10-15min walk)
What could be improved: Elevator still not working. Ugly street.
This property is centrally located, a 10-20 minute walk from nearly everywhere I wanted to go (10-12 minutes to the Christkindlmarkt). The rooms are small but they had what I needed. The breakfast is great, on par with more expensive hotels. I recommend it.
What could be improved: There wasn’t anything I didn’t like
Warm and comfy with nice coffee pods and snacks voucher instead of room service. Walkable to the Christmas markets. Well rested.
What could be improved: Wifi a bit weak at times.
Staff were friendly, very helpful, and the hotel location is amazing near city center, train station and for Muslims near halal restaurants
What could be improved: NA
Staff were very friendly and helpful, location was good and the rooms whilst small were comfortable
What could be improved: For the price I cannot find fault
