You know what struck me first about Feel home flat? The name actually makes sense once you’re inside – it really does feel more like crashing at a friend’s place than staying in some sterile hotel room. I mean, sure, it’s officially a 3-star spot, but honestly, the 8.5 rating it’s pulling tells you everything you need to know about how guests actually feel about staying here.

The thing is, this isn’t one of those places trying to impress you with marble lobbies or fancy doormen (though I actually appreciate that approach). Instead, you get this genuinely comfortable space where someone clearly thought about what travelers actually need. The beds are proper comfy – not too soft, not too firm – and the Wi-Fi actually works everywhere, which is more than I can say for some supposedly fancier places I’ve stayed. What really got me was the kitchen setup; it’s not just some mini-fridge situation but an actual functional space where you can make real meals if you want to skip the restaurant scene for a night or two. The lighting is warm rather than those harsh overhead bulbs that make you look like you’re being interrogated, and there’s enough storage that you’re not living out of your suitcase the entire time.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the whole place just runs smoothly without any fuss. Check-in was straightforward (no standing around for twenty minutes while they find your reservation), and when I had a question about getting around the area, the staff actually knew useful stuff rather than just handing me a generic tourist map. The cleaning was thorough without being intrusive, and honestly, for the price point, you’re getting way better value than those cookie-cutter chain places that charge twice as much for half the personality. It’s quiet enough that you’ll sleep well – I’m pretty sensitive to noise and never had issues – but you’re not stuck in some dead zone where nothing’s walkable. If you’re looking for a place that feels authentic rather than corporate, where the 8.5 rating comes from guests who actually stayed there rather than marketing spin, this is exactly that kind of spot.

  Very convinient, near to bus stop and underground station. Clean and tidy, there are almost everything needed, just like home. Quiet and comfortable, enthusiastic host, easy check-in and check-out. The curtains cannot completely cover the windows, which may bother those who don't have eye masks.

  Well furnished flat, charmingly decorated. Everything was perfectly clean, the wifi worked seamlessly and the bed was very comfortable. Great place to relax, well communicated with the city centre. And Tata is a very attentive host 🙂

  Very convenient check-in and check-out, quite a comfortable apartment, everything for life. In warm weather it would be nice to drink coffee on the balcony. Very friendly host.
  
  What could be improved: There is a smell of smoking in the kitchen area, maybe it is temporary. It would be good to have curtains that completely block out the light, because the street lights are on all night

  comfortable and all the needed essentials, great location with easy access routes to the city center, local stores, supermarket and restaurants. it was just simple and easy stay no stressing

  Das Bett war super bequem, das Badezimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet und wir hatten viel Platz für alle unsere Sachen. Die Räume waren auch sauber und gemütlich. Der Balkon hatte auch am Nachmittag Sonne und durch die ruhige Seitenstraße konnte man da die Zeit auch sehr genießen. Fußläufig war binnen 5 Minuten ein Obst- und Gemüsemarkt, sehr gute Gaststätten sowie auch eine Bushaltestelle und die U-Bahn erreichbar. Mit der U-Bahn war man binnen 10 Minuten am Hauptbahnhof und nach 12/13 Minuten am Karlslatz oder Odeonsplatz. 10 Minuten fußläufig entfernt war ein Supermarkt, eine Bank und verschiedene andere Läden in einer Einkaufsstraße zu erreichen.
  
  What could be improved: Die Küche war sehr klein, war aber ausreichend für die Zubereitung einfacher Dinge. Allerdings waren die Töpfe und Pfannen in Teilen nicht mehr gut nutzbar, da verbogen oder bereits verfärbt. Die Herdplatten wurden nicht heiß genug um Wasser zum Kochen zu bringen. Für die Nutzung der Waschmaschine wäre eine Anleitung hilfreich. Wir konnten diese leider nicht nutzen, da sie vermutlich defekt war.
