Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Eurostars Book Hotel on Schwanthalerstraße, you immediately get the sense this is a place that takes itself seriously without being stuffy about it. The four-star property sits right in Ludwigsvorstadt, which honestly is one of those neighborhoods that locals love but tourists sometimes overlook — and that’s exactly what makes it great. You’re close enough to everything that matters, but you’re not drowning in tour groups every time you step outside. The contemporary design reflects modern German hospitality standards while maintaining authentic local character.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s what I really appreciate about this spot in Munich — you can walk to the Hauptbahnhof in about five minutes, which means you’re connected to everything. The Oktoberfest grounds are practically next door, and I mean that literally if you’re visiting during the festival. But even when it’s not beer season, this area has character. There are actual neighborhood bars and restaurants where you’ll hear more German than English, which is refreshing. The hotel offers private parking, and trust me, that’s worth its weight in gold in this city. Public transportation connections make exploring Bavaria’s attractions incredibly convenient for guests.
The Room Experience
My room had this clean, modern design that felt distinctly German — functional but warm, if that makes sense. The beds are properly firm, and the windows actually open, which you don’t always get in newer hotels. What struck me most was how quiet it stays despite being on a fairly busy street. The soundproofing really works, and you’ll sleep well here. The space feels thoughtfully designed for both comfort and practicality. Each accommodation features premium amenities and thoughtful touches that enhance the overall guest experience.
Breakfast & Dining
The breakfast buffet is solid — not fancy, but they do the basics really well. Fresh bread, good coffee, and they’ve got this breakfast-to-go option that’s actually useful if you’re catching an early train or heading out for a day trip. I grabbed one for my trip to Neuschwanstein and it held up perfectly. There’s no full restaurant on-site, but honestly, you’re in Munich — step outside and you’ve got incredible food options within a two-minute walk. The location makes dining flexibility a real advantage for exploring local culinary traditions.
Why Guests Love It
Couples seem to really connect with this place, and I can see why. It’s got that sweet spot of being central without being chaotic. You can stumble back from a late dinner in the old town, but you can also find quiet corners of the neighborhood for morning coffee. The staff actually knows the area well — they gave me directions to a local bakery that I never would have found otherwise. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying in Munich, not just visiting it. This hotel delivers genuine hospitality with authentic local insight that creates memorable experiences for every guest.

Guest Reviews
The property is super well

Everything was perfect
Quiet, helpful staff, breakfast.
Staff where extremely helpful and friendly
What could be improved: Everything from the hotel was excellent.
The hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the train station, and approx. 15 minutes to the Old Town (Marienplatz). Our suite was spacious with comfortable beds, large shower, and a mini fridge. We did have two issues that arose during our 7 night stay, but then were compensated for, as my wife says - by the very friendly and charming Nico! The bartender, Edo, was a real gentleman who served us our drinks and dinners, including room service, a few nights, with absolute grace! Very convenient to have the restaurant open until 10:30 pm, especially after getting back from long day trips by train! Food is reasonable and tasty! Good choices for the buffet breakfast, and my wife also loved getting morning hugs from Dicel! She’s really the sweetest!
What could be improved: Definitely need face cloths in the rooms!! Reception should pick up all calls from the suite and put on hold if busy, but especially on evenings/ nights when it's quiet.
Very nice clean and organized hotel.
Staff is very polite and helpful and provide answers to all questions.
Hotel runs well breakfast buffet is abundant and tasty.
Kudos to Rosalia at front desk !
Clean
Nice staff
Nice room
What could be improved: Location
Not in a very good place -distance wise it’s close to main streets but the neighborhood itself is problematic.
Also lots of construction around it
Great staff. Excellent location. Clean, modern rooms.
What could be improved: -----
Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was very nice and responsive. Unfortunately, the boiler was not working for one of the days we stayed at the hotel. Nothing that could have been controlled. Overall a good facility. Great staff. Accessibly located.
What could be improved: N/A
Cute little hotel that has all the essentials. Very spacious room.
What could be improved: Gym was next to the sauna and when the sauna was in use the heat would poor into the gym. Made it hard to work out due to the heat.
