Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Best Western Hotel Arabellapark Muenchen, you immediately get that “this place has its act together” feeling. It’s not trying to be something it isn’t — this is a solid three-star hotel that knows exactly what it’s doing. The lobby feels fresh and welcoming, and honestly, the staff here seem genuinely happy to help rather than just going through the motions. You can tell right away that this isn’t your typical chain hotel experience, even though it carries the Best Western name.
The Bogenhausen Advantage
Here’s what I love about staying in Bogenhausen — you’re in Munich but away from the tourist chaos of the city center. This neighborhood has that authentic Munich vibe, with tree-lined streets and local cafes where you’ll actually hear German being spoken. The hotel sits on Arabellastraße, which might sound fancy, but it’s really just a pleasant residential area that feels safe to walk around at night. Couples especially seem to get this location (they rate it 8.7, which honestly makes sense), and the U-Bahn connections mean you’re still only about 15 minutes from Marienplatz when you want to dive into the tourist stuff.
Your Room and Comfort
The room I stayed in was — well, let me put it this way — it felt like someone actually thought about what travelers need. Clean lines, decent space, and a bathroom that doesn’t make you feel like you’re in a closet. The beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night. What really impressed me was the attention to small details — good lighting for reading, enough outlets for your devices, and windows that actually open if you prefer fresh air over constant AC.
Breakfast Worth Getting Up For
I’m usually pretty skeptical about hotel breakfast spreads, but this one actually delivers. They’ve got the continental basics covered, sure, but what caught me off guard was how well they handle dietary restrictions — vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options that don’t look like afterthoughts. The buffet setup flows well, so you’re not bumping into other guests trying to get your coffee. I mean, it’s not going to change your life, but it’s substantial enough that you can skip lunch if you’re planning a busy day of sightseeing.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this hotel gets an 8.5 rating because it delivers on the fundamentals without any pretense. The parking situation is sorted (which, if you’ve ever tried to park in Munich, you know is worth its weight in gold), the location gives you that local feel while keeping you connected to everything, and the service feels personal rather than corporate. It’s the kind of place where you can actually relax after a day of exploring, and you’re not paying for amenities you’ll never use. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need — a reliable, comfortable base that lets Munich be the star of your trip.
Exploring Munich offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Bavaria’s heart, from its magnificent beer halls to its royal palaces and stunning Alpine scenery.

Best view ever, room was cozy and there was a huge tv in there.
The hotel is very clean and close to public transport for city centre, personnel very nice and helpful. The rooms are big and clean and they have as well rooms with balcony for smokers. The only inconvenience is they don't have a mini fridge. Thanks for everything guys 💖
