Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to B&B Hotel München-Olympiapark, you immediately get that “this is exactly what I needed” feeling. It’s one of those three-star places that doesn’t try to be something it’s not — just clean, modern, and refreshingly straightforward. The building sits on Pelkovenstrasse in the Moosach district, and honestly, the location surprised me in the best way possible. The hotel offers a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re actually close to the Olympic Park (hence the name), but you’re not stuck in some touristy bubble. Munich feels accessible from here, with the U-Bahn connections getting you downtown in about 20 minutes. The Moosach area has this lived-in neighborhood vibe that I find way more interesting than staying right in the city center. You know what’s great? There are local bakeries and cafés within walking distance, so you get a taste of real Munich life. The surrounding streets are tree-lined and peaceful, offering a genuine slice of local culture.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully designed — everything had its place, and nothing felt cramped. The bed was actually comfortable (you never know with budget-friendly hotels), and the bathroom was spotless with a decent shower. What struck me was how quiet it was at night, despite being on a fairly busy street. The air conditioning worked well during my summer visit, which honestly saved my trip since Munich can get surprisingly warm. Modern furnishings and smart storage solutions make the space feel larger than it actually is.
Practical Perks
The parking situation here is solid if you’re driving — not something you can say about most Munich hotels without paying through the nose. Wi-Fi was reliable throughout my stay, which matters when you’re trying to plan your days or stay connected. The front desk staff spoke excellent English and were genuinely helpful with directions and recommendations. I mean, they pointed me toward this amazing local restaurant that I never would have found otherwise. The hotel also provides useful information about public transportation and nearby attractions.
Why Guests Love It
What really makes this place work is that it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. Couples seem to particularly appreciate the peaceful location and easy access to both the Olympic Park and central Munich — I can see why it gets high marks for romantic getaways. The value proposition is honest: you’re getting a clean, comfortable base for exploring Munich without the premium price tag of downtown hotels. It’s the kind of place where you sleep well, start your day refreshed, and don’t feel like you’re missing out on anything important. Guests consistently praise the friendly service and attention to detail throughout their stays.

Guest Reviews
Comfortable beds and cozy rooms for a good price
What could be improved: the rooms are pretty small but still comfortable and ok for the price
room was silent at night and clean, bed was comfortable, the hotel is conveniently located with respect to some big companies in the area. so it is convenient of you are on a business trip involving some of those. the hotel is rather essential, there is no breakfast but it is wery functional and makes perfect sense for one or two nights
What could be improved: the lady at the reception on my arrival was kond of rude, she dod not want to accept a 🚌 ness credit card from my company. after a while I succeeded, but the welcome wasn't pleasant. there is no breakfast, but a cafe' + backery next door is ll I needed, so no problems on that front
Easy check in and out, comfortable bed
What could be improved: There was nothing that stood out negatively. It's a basic hotel but absolutely functional for a short stay
Great location, where you can park for free in the surroundings and outside the ECO zone and then get to the centre by public transport. Contactless check-in and check-out but helpful staff. Great breakfast bakery right next door. The room looked modern and the beds were comfortable.
What could be improved: The hair dryer didn't work. There is a special system of one door for separate toilet and bathroom. You either close the bathroom and have the toilet open, or the other way around. I don't think it's a problem for couples, but otherwise it can be uncomfortable.
It was nice, very close to Olympia Halle which was great, as the purpose of the trip was to see Ghost in concert
What could be improved: Rooms were much smaller than anticipated, and not enough space to unpack our things. Also TV is a smart TV however as it was not connected to WiFi, so we could not connect our devices to watch things.
Nice room for short stay and very comfortable bed. Easy and fast check-in and out. For us location was amazing, from downtown its about 20min with metro. Many stores and restaurants nearby.
Great value for money
I like that the staff was helpful with the self check in, even though the reception wasn't working. The rooms were cleaned every day and the towels changed.
What could be improved: It would be better if the hotel had a small kitchen with a microwave and utensils that the guests could use.
Great location, very clean, comfortable and friendly staff.
its near to the train station and the mall is nearby.
