Hotel Description
Honestly, when I first pulled up to this place, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the listing just said “2bedroom in historic villa” which could mean anything, you know? But once you actually see it, you realize you’ve stumbled onto something pretty special. The building itself has that weathered Bavarian charm that makes you feel like you’re staying in someone’s family estate rather than just another rental property. It’s tucked away in one of those quiet residential streets that locals actually live on, not the touristy strips where every other building is a souvenir shop.
The location is honestly the real winner here. I mean, Nymphenburg Palace is right there – and I don’t mean “a short bus ride away,” I mean you can actually walk through the palace gardens on your morning coffee run. The palace grounds become sort of like your backyard, which is pretty surreal when you think about it. What really surprised me though was how well-connected this area is to the rest of Munich. There’s a tram stop maybe five minutes on foot that’ll get you to Marienplatz in about twenty minutes, but you’re far enough out that you don’t hear the late-night party crowds stumbling home. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel – there’s a proper bakery around the corner where the woman behind the counter actually remembers your order after a few days, and a little Turkish place that stays open late if you need dinner after a long day of sightseeing.
The apartment itself feels authentic to the building’s character without being stuffy about it. Two proper bedrooms, which is actually rare for vacation rentals in Munich – usually you get one real bedroom and a “bedroom” that’s basically a living room with a fold-out couch. The kitchen is functional enough that you can make real meals, not just heat up leftovers, and there’s decent natural light throughout the day. I’ll be honest, the wifi could be stronger if you’re planning to work remotely, and the shower pressure is… well, it’s European villa shower pressure, let’s put it that way. But the charm more than makes up for any modern conveniences you might be used to. Plus, parking is actually manageable here – something you definitely can’t take for granted in Munich. The 7.9 rating feels about right; it’s not luxury, but it’s genuine and comfortable in a way that feels distinctly German rather than generically international. If you’re the type who’d rather stay somewhere with actual character than a sterile hotel chain, this spot delivers.

It was located in a good area and near restaurants and shops. The apartment itself was clean and well equipped, and spacious.

location is great. comfortable.
What could be improved: finding a parking place can be problematic.Shreeti from Netherlands – 7 June 2022 (8/10)
clean apartment in a very well connected area of Munich. It was perfect for a group of us visiting the city. The hosts were really easy to communicate with and made extra efforts to make sure we were comfortable.
What could be improved: the walls are thin between the rooms so Incase you’re a big group it can get a bit noisy. it is Manageable thoughSofiya from Ukraine – 16 March 2025 (8/10)
The location is excellent, just a 4-minute walk to the Rewe supermarket and the main tram stop, which provides direct access to the city center.
The apartment is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. There is a dedicated dining area, a full set of utensils, plates, and even coffee provided.
There is a space to hang clothes, and while the apartment isn't very large, it feels cozy and comfortable.
What could be improved: Upon arrival, the apartment was unfortunately not clean, and it was clear that it hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests. However, after contacting customer support, they promptly resolved the issue. They offered to refund the cleaning fee, which was appreciated, and someone came to clean the apartment right away.
The dishwasher wasn't very efficient and could use an upgrade.
The bed was quite squeaky, which made sleeping uncomfortable.
The freezer compartment in the fridge was broken, which was inconvenient.
The tap water didn't seem very clean, so we ended up buying bottled water. Though, it's possible this is standard for Munich, I'm not sure.
We were surprised by an additional security deposit of 150 euros required before check-in. This was not clearly communicated during the booking process. However, the deposit was refunded after our stay.Sariya from United Kingdom – 23 October 2024 (7/10)
A little travel if you want to explore the city centre but great location, very nice neighbourhood. Spacious rooms and living area. Kitchen has most of the things you need.
What could be improved: Bed was squeaking and the 2 bedrooms can almost hear each other. A lot of construction going on around the area during our visit causing a lot of traffic jam and closures.Zahraa from Iraq – 14 April 2024 (8/10)
They have a 24hrs customer service who responds really fast, the location is so beautiful and there is a supermarket and bakery nearby, also the place is very clean and comfortable.

Sunil from India – 18 June 2023 (1/10)
What could be improved: They are irresponsible.. security deposit is not mentioned while booking and still after 7 days..my security deposit is not refunded..I'm tired of mailing them..they are very mean minded and insecure about their house..and they keep on knocking at mails while u stay there for little things every now n then..I need my refund of 150 euros..while the rent was 135 euros..I mean how can someone demand more deposit then the rent itself..toaster is not working ..washbasin valve was not working..already put the complaint..they should must compensate for mental harassment while living there and still for refunding my security deposit till yet.

Ev konumu uzak özellikle 2 odası için tutum iki kişilik yatak var çocuk battaniyesi koymuşlar .havlular en az 50 yıllık tuvalet kağıdı yok
Işıl from Turkey – 6 June 2024 (7/10)
Üç kişi rahatlıkla kaldık. Iki ayrı oda olması iyiydi. Mutfaktaki düzen iyiydi.
What could be improved: Yağmur yağdığı için konum merkeze biraz uzak hissettirdi. Yoksa 150 Euro depositi geri vermezler belki" diye.
Yani şirketlere devredilmiş işletmelerde şirketler kendilerini garanti altına almak için fazla beklentili davraniyorlar .
Bir de havlular daha temiz olabilirdi.
Bu geri bildirimdir. Yine de her şey için teşekkürler.
