Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to the Wyndham Garden Munich Messe, I wasn’t expecting much. It’s one of those modern business hotels that could honestly be anywhere, you know? But here’s the thing that caught me off guard: the staff actually seemed to give a damn. The guy at check-in (I think his name was Klaus?) knew I was coming from the airport and immediately started explaining the U-Bahn connections before I even asked. That’s when I realized this place might be different.
What really won me over was how they’ve figured out the whole trade fair crowd without making it feel sterile. I mean, the Messe is literally right there – you can practically roll out of bed and into a conference hall – but they’ve managed to keep things comfortable for regular travelers too. The rooms are bigger than you’d expect, and honestly, the beds are solid. None of that thin-mattress nonsense you sometimes get at business hotels. The soundproofing is actually decent too, which matters because let’s face it, Munich can get lively and you’ve got people coming and going at all hours during exhibition season.
Here’s what I really appreciated though – they get the practical stuff right. The parking situation is straightforward (rare for Munich, trust me), and they have this little market area in the lobby where you can grab actual food, not just overpriced candy bars. The breakfast buffet runs until 10:30 on weekends, which is clutch if you’re not on a business schedule. Plus, and this might sound small, but the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building. I’ve stayed at fancier places where you’re playing connection roulette every time you move rooms. The location might not scream “quintessential Munich charm” – you’re not going to step outside and immediately stumble into a beer garden – but you’re connected to everything that matters. Twenty minutes to Marienplatz, easy access to the ring road if you’re driving, and honestly, sometimes it’s nice to have a base that’s comfortable and functional without all the tourist chaos right outside your door.
Munich hotels provide guests with luxurious accommodations in Bavaria’s capital, known for its impressive architecture and world-famous beer culture.

Guest Reviews
I booked this room because it offered good value for money out of the Messe days. The hotel is a bit far off from the city center, but the underground station is close. The room was quite good, the surroundings of the hotel very peaceful during the weekend.
What could be improved: Small things: no glass (only cup) in the room, the hairdryer was not up to the job. I am sure the friendly staff would have helped me if I complained, so these are not serious issues, only some room for improvement.
peaceful sleep without any disturbance of traffic
What could be improved: weekends public buses were not operational
Nice, clean and big family room (actually two combined rooms) with kitchenette. Comfy beds, spatious bathroom
What could be improved: Parking is paid 10 euro. Not that much but just letting know
Large single room, modern and clean with excellent shower room. Good transport links for central Munich and beyond.
Large, quiet rooms, lots of green space, good restaurant area
What could be improved: Pillows were not good (too soft and thin). Blankets were too small and thin as well. Sleeping was least comfortable part of stay.
Connecting rooms for family stay
Good location, subway is not far away.
What could be improved: Some guests were loud.
Very clean, nice staff
What could be improved: It is a bit outside City center, but not that far away
People slam the door to take the lift. Avoid rooms close to the door to lift (ours was 333).
Everything was perfect! I would like the water to be warmer.
Very clean and comfortable hotel. Nice staff. Location is near to the metro station and bus stop. Overall a good experience with Wyndham.
