Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Servus Apartments by Homaris – I mean, it’s a 3-star place and sometimes those can be pretty hit or miss, you know? But this one actually surprised me in the best way. The moment you walk into the lobby, there’s this clean, modern vibe that feels way more upscale than the star rating suggests. It’s not trying too hard to be fancy, which I appreciated – just well-designed spaces with that understated European aesthetic that actually works.

The apartments themselves are where this place really shines. I stayed in a one-bedroom unit and honestly, the kitchen setup was better than my last two Airbnbs combined. Full-size fridge, decent cookware, and enough counter space to actually prep a meal without feeling like you’re playing Tetris with your groceries. The living area flows nicely into the bedroom – nothing feels cramped or awkwardly laid out. What really got me was the attention to small details… like, there were proper blackout curtains (thank god), USB outlets right by the bed, and the shower actually had good water pressure. You’d be amazed how many places mess up these basics.

The 7.6 rating makes total sense to me – it’s solid, reliable, and comfortable without any major wow factors or deal-breakers. I noticed the soundproofing was pretty decent too, which matters if you’re a light sleeper like I am. Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend confirming your arrival time since it’s not a massive hotel with 24/7 front desk coverage. The staff I dealt with were genuinely helpful – not just going through the motions, but actually seemed to care about making sure everything worked for you. There’s something refreshing about a place that focuses on getting the fundamentals right rather than loading up on gimmicky amenities you’ll never use. If you’re looking for apartment-style comfort without the hassle of dealing with individual property owners, this is definitely worth considering.

    The overall property is very nice. But the lift was out of order and not working. So we had to lift 5 bags to the 2nd floor and get it down too after 7 days. It was never repaired. Looks as if it was not working for many days. And no one was bothered to help or provide any info. Please do not book if there is no assurance of the lift working 100%.

    What could be improved: Rooms are too too small. Barely able to walk inside. Kitchen facilities are also very limited.

    The room was clean. Location is also nice (5 min walking from the metro station). Tv with Netflix.

    What could be improved: Room size (26m) is extremely small for 3 people. The pillows were not comfortable at all. You’ll have to buy tea/coffee because not much of it is provided. No kettle in the room. The shower cabin didn’t close well and it was water around it after using

    Very good and modern furnishing, well prepared apartament. Good kitchen area, nice location but remember it's in the green transport zone, so your car need the green enviromental sticker to drive up there, ours didn't but we got here by tram, there is a tram line in front of the apartment so it's very convenient:)

    What could be improved: There was a cockroach in the bathroom. The bathroom itself was the only downside.

    Convenient to transit lines. The kitchen would be great for longer stays. Room was cleaned thoroughly. Customer service agent was helpful when we rang to ask a question. Plenty of bath towels and kitchen implements/dishes were provided.

    What could be improved: Front door didn’t lock at any point, even late at night. The lower bed was extremely uncomfortable and creaked very loudly at the slightest movement. It’s an echoey old building, so if other guests don’t respect quiet hours, you’ll be hearing them all night, which was unfortunately our experience. The room could use some small repairs to the paint etc, but nothing was in total disrepair.

    Staff were incredible, easily accessible and fast replying with our concerns. Good location to the city and very clean apartment.

    What could be improved: The apartment was very small for our group, and the sofa beds were uncomfortable. However overall it was a pleasant stay.

    The view from the tiny balcony was nice

    What could be improved: We couldn’t figure out how the elevator worked, there’s no air conditioning. The entryway was dark and hard to find at night. it would’ve been nice if they provided at least a water bottle for each guest for the first day because we arrived late and there was no water, and no stores were open.

    Very nice little apartment, close to public transportation. Easy check-in and check-out. The apartment has all the necessary amenities. Beds are comfortable. Linens and whole apartment are very clean. They left complimentary beer and water, which is a nice detail, even though we didn’t have opportunity to take it. True to the pictures showed on internet.

    What could be improved: The apartment is very little for 4 adults. There is hardly space to open the luggage. Only 2 chairs fit the apartment, so 2 people can eat at the table and 2 on the beds or take turns. The apartment is located on ground floor without a/c so we had to sleep with open windows during august, and the windows look to an interior patio where people keep their bikes so you can hear all the noise going on and if you have the curtains opened they can see inside, a bit uncomfortable.
