So I’ve stayed at the Rimedya Hotel near Munich’s trade fair grounds a handful of times now, and honestly, it’s become my go-to spot when I’m in town for business. The thing that struck me first was how refreshingly unpretentious it is – you know how some 4-star places try way too hard? This isn’t one of those. The lobby has this clean, modern vibe without being sterile, and the staff actually remembers you if you’ve been there before, which I genuinely appreciate.

What really sold me on this place is its location – I mean, if you’re heading to Messe München, you literally cannot get closer without sleeping in the exhibition halls themselves. But here’s what most people don’t realize: even when there’s a massive trade show happening, the hotel itself stays surprisingly quiet. The rooms facing away from the main street are particularly peaceful, and I’ve learned to specifically request those on the upper floors. The breakfast situation is solid too – not fancy, but they do proper German bread (thank god), decent coffee, and usually have some local specialties that change depending on what’s in season. I actually look forward to it, which says something.

The rooms themselves are what you’d expect from a well-run 4-star – comfortable beds, good shower pressure, and enough space to spread out your work stuff without feeling cramped. The Wi-Fi actually works consistently, which honestly puts it ahead of plenty of pricier hotels I’ve stayed at. Parking can be a bit of a challenge during major trade shows – the garage fills up fast and street parking becomes a nightmare with all the exhibition traffic. My advice? Book a parking spot when you reserve your room, or be prepared to walk a few blocks from wherever you find a space. The S-Bahn connections are pretty decent if you want to explore Munich proper, though you’re looking at about 20 minutes to get to the city center. Overall, it’s one of those places that just works – not flashy, not revolutionary, but consistently good at what it does. For the location and the price point, I keep coming back because it removes all the usual travel headaches and lets me focus on why I’m actually there.

  Everything was clean and good. There could have been an electric kettle in the room for a nice cup of tea.
  
  What could be improved: The hotel security was not up to mark since anyone could walk to your floor and door. Only rooms were locked for public.
  Not convenient location if you are using public transport. Nearest public transport is atlesst 15..17 mins of walk. So if you are very tired and don't want to walk back, you have to spend on cab.

  Room was new and nice, staff friendly, street very quiet. Beds was very comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: Location is bif far from center, and there is no public transport nearby, u have to walk at list 15 minutes till nearest metro station

  Room is a great size, not too small or crowded, it was great for 3 persons, very comfortable, very clean on arrival, good location if you are with a car, good value for money
  
  What could be improved: Room was not cleaned once in 5 day stay even when requested, and apartment is not near any market or station. It is around 15-20 minutes walking distance which is okay for most people, but for kids and elderly it would be great if travelling with car
