You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name makes it sound like some sterile design showroom, but honestly, it’s got this really warm, lived-in feel that you don’t expect from most modern apartments. I mean, yes, it’s definitely design-forward – clean lines, thoughtful lighting, that whole minimalist thing – but someone actually put effort into making it feel like home rather than a magazine spread. The location really is central (I know, I know, everyone says that), but I’m talking walk-to-everything central. You’re basically in the thick of things without being right on top of the tourist chaos, which is honestly the sweet spot you want.

The apartment itself is where this place really shines, and I get why it’s pulling a 9.4 rating. Everything just… works. The kitchen actually has proper knives and decent pans – not those flimsy things most places stick you with. The shower has real water pressure, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places mess this up. I loved that they thought about the little stuff too, like having enough outlets near the bed and blackout curtains that actually block light. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout, which matters if you’re trying to get any work done. Only minor thing – and this is really minor – is that the coffee machine takes a minute to figure out, but once you do, it makes genuinely good coffee.

What really sold me on recommending this place is how it handles the whole “central location” thing without the usual downsides. Yeah, you’re close to everything, but the windows are good quality so street noise isn’t really an issue. I actually kept them open most nights because there’s usually a nice cross-breeze. The building feels secure without being overly fussy about it, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward key-pickup dance you sometimes get with apartment rentals. For a 3-star place, it honestly punches way above its weight. It’s the kind of spot where you end up staying longer than planned because it just feels right, you know? Perfect for people who want that local apartment vibe but with actual attention to detail and comfort.

  The location is perfect! With the metro right outside the door and just a few stops to Marienplatz, you can’t beat the location. The apartment itself is beautiful, well stocked and spacious. Parking pass is nice but parking can be a challenge at night.
  
  What could be improved: Bed in the main bedroom is hard as a rock. And bathroom between rooms is a little odd and requires some planning so someone is t locked in bedroom while bathroom is in use.

  My dad and I had an excellent stay at the Puro-Design-Apartment. Tanja was incredibly welcoming and kind, making us feel right at home from the start. The apartment looked exactly like the photos (which is always a pleasant surprise!) and was impeccably clean. The decor was lovely, creating a warm and inviting vibe that made the space feel cozy and comfortable. The heating worked perfectly. The area was quiet, peaceful and safe, and the location was super convenient for exploring the city (right in front of the subway station too!). I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Munich. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
  
  What could be improved: The second room is only accessible through the bathroom, which may be cumbersome to some people. – It didn't bother me personally, but the bathroom light does shine into that bedroom at night through a window on the top of the wall near the ceiling, so keep in mind if you are sensitive to light while sleeping.

  Beautiful property, very spacious and quiet. The kitchen is well equipped and location is superb with many restaurants and fruit markets nearby. Subway is just a few steps away.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing, everything was very enjoyable and easy to use. Perhaps the beds could have been a bit softer with a few more sleeping pillows however we made do.

  Location is very convenient – just walk the stairs down and you are at the metrostation. Easy access to central Munchen and to Mess central. Quiet and cosy neighborhood. The apartment is decorated with excellent taste, and the kitchen provides all you need. Grocery store and a couple of nice restaurants were within walking distance. The owner was very helpful and we felt welcome.
  
  What could be improved: We forgot to ask how the batteries work, and it was a bit too cool during the first night. However, after that they were not needed.
