The staff actually seem to remember faces, which probably explains why so many guests keep coming back here.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I love about the Schwabing-Freimann location — you’re close enough to Munich‘s center without being stuck in the tourist chaos. Couples especially seem to get this area (they rate it 8.5, and honestly, I can see why). You’ve got easy access to the English Garden, which is perfect for morning runs or lazy afternoon strolls. The U-Bahn connections are solid, so getting to Marienplatz or the main train station is straightforward. Plus, there’s parking right at the hotel, which anyone who’s driven in Munich will tell you is worth its weight in gold.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had that modern Pullman aesthetic — clean lines, good lighting, and a workspace that actually works if you need to get things done. The bed was properly comfortable, not just hotel-comfortable, and the bathroom had enough space to spread out your stuff. What struck me was the attention to small details — decent coffee setup, plenty of outlets where you need them, and blackout curtains that actually block out light. You know what’s nice? The soundproofing is solid, so you’re not hearing every conversation in the hallway.

Breakfast & Dining

The breakfast spread here is honestly impressive — they’ve clearly thought about different dietary needs without making it feel like an afterthought. Whether you’re vegetarian, vegan, need halal or gluten-free options, there’s actually good stuff to choose from, not just token gestures. The American breakfast items are there if you want familiar comfort food, but I’d recommend trying some of the local options too. If you’re rushing to catch an early flight or meeting, they do breakfast to go, which saved me more than once during my stay.
