You know what struck me first about the Pullman Munich? It’s one of those hotels that actually gets modern business travel right without feeling cold or corporate. I mean, sure, it’s a 4-star place so you’re not getting palace-level luxury, but honestly – the execution here is really solid, and that 8/10 rating makes total sense once you’ve spent a night or two.

The whole vibe hits this sweet spot between sleek and comfortable. The lobby has that contemporary German design thing going on – clean lines, good lighting, none of that overdone marble everywhere that screams “trying too hard.” Check-in was smooth (I’ve stayed here three times now, different seasons), and the staff actually seems to remember regulars, which is nice. The rooms are what you’d expect from Pullman – well-thought-out layouts with decent space, beds that don’t leave you waking up sore, and bathrooms where everything actually works properly. Little things matter when you’re traveling for work, and they’ve nailed the details: plenty of outlets where you need them, blackout curtains that actually block light, and – this might sound weird but bear with me – shower pressure that doesn’t make you question your life choices.

What really sells this place for me is how it sits in Munich. You’re not stuck in some business district wasteland where finding decent food after 9 PM becomes a mission impossible situation. The area has that lived-in feeling where locals actually hang out, and you can walk to proper restaurants and bars without needing a taxi. I’ve noticed the neighborhood gets pretty quiet after 10 PM on weeknights, which is perfect if you’re trying to get actual sleep. Weekend nights are a bit livelier – not crazy loud, just more energy in the air. The breakfast setup is solid too (though honestly, skip it if you’re not in a rush and explore some of the local bakeries instead). Parking can be a bit of a dance if you’re driving, but that’s Munich for you. The fitness center is small but functional – I mean, it’s got what you need for a quick workout without feeling like you’re exercising in a closet. Overall, it’s the kind of place where everything just works the way it should, without any unpleasant surprises or “character building” experiences that make for good stories later but miserable nights in the moment.

  Big rooms, great sauna included in the price (I was there alone). Also amazing breakfast.

  room spacious, excellent bathroom, good bedding. Excellent presentation and variety of food at breakfast. Good location for a business stay, next to the train station (easy access to downtown) and the airport express bus.

  What could be improved: Corridor in hallway had sofa seats, where people were sitting (ground floor). Just opposite to the room, which wasn’t optimal.

  Room was fantastic, spacious and bed was UBER comfortable. Shower was also amazing. We were allowed to drop our luggage off for storage before our check in time, which allowed us to explore Munich without the burden of bags. Also right opposite the Lufthansa airport shuttle bus station, made our trip hassle free
  
  What could be improved: Top Tip – use the hotel facilities/reception bar as the bar associated with the hotel is SUPER expensive, 7.80e for a bottle of water vs 3.80e in the hotel itself.

  Convenient location, next to U-Bahn (tube) station, very near to airport shuttle stop (Lufthansa Express Bus) 2 min walk.
  There are good few restauarants in walking distance, an Italian across the road and a Bavarian-Croatian just a few minutes walk, both very good.
  Nice clean, bright room, large TV and decent size shower in bathroom.
  
  What could be improved: For the price range, nothing to dislike really, will be staying here again if we return to Munich for another trip.
