Honestly, when I first walked into the PLAZA Premium München, I wasn’t expecting much – the name sounds a bit corporate, you know? But this place actually surprised me in the best way. It’s got that solid four-star feel without trying too hard to be something it’s not. The lobby has this warm, understated elegance that immediately makes you feel like you’re in good hands, and the staff genuinely seem to care about getting things right (which, let me tell you, isn’t always a given in Munich’s hotel scene).

What really won me over was how they’ve nailed the details that actually matter when you’re traveling. The rooms are well thought out – I mean, there are enough outlets near the bed, the shower has proper water pressure, and the blackout curtains actually block out light. You know what’s refreshing? The WiFi works everywhere, even in the elevator. The breakfast spread is better than you’d expect too, with local touches that show they’re not just phoning it in with generic continental fare. I spotted some Bavarian specialties mixed in with the usual suspects, which was a nice surprise.

The whole vibe strikes this perfect balance between professional and welcoming. Sure, it’s not going to blow you away with flashy amenities or knock your socks off with over-the-top luxury, but that 7.9 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed there. It’s the kind of place where everything just works smoothly – check-in is efficient, housekeeping is thorough, and when you need something, they sort it out without drama. I’d definitely book here again, especially if you’re someone who values reliability and comfort over Instagram-worthy moments. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need after a long day of dealing with whatever brought you to Munich in the first place.

  Friendly and helpful staff.
  We were attending a concert at Zenith and the hotel was only one station away, which was perfect also late at night, so no need to go by car.
  Free parking is available in the surrounding area during the day. Not a lot of restaurants or shops nearby, but only one Mc Donald's just across the street.
  Breakfast is very good an served until 11AM.

  Excellent breakfast, personnel very helpful with food allergies. Quiet room with comfy beds, I really appreciated the kettle and complimentary tea and coffee.

  Very well deserved with transports, very clean, beds are confortable and staff is nice and helpful.
  
  What could be improved: I was travelling with a friend and in the room the beds were side by side, i would have prefered the beds separate from each other for more space.
  
  Also, in the bathroom, there was just 1 towel for 2 persons and the shower was leaking from everywhere, the water was pouring a lot outside the shower, this was the main problem. But besides that, everything was OK.
