NH München Messe Overview
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to NH München Messe, honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a pretty standard business hotel. But you know what? Sometimes those assumptions get turned on their head. This four-star property sits in Bogenhausen, which — if you’re not familiar with Munich — is actually one of the more upscale residential districts. It’s got this quiet, almost suburban feel that’s a nice break from the tourist chaos downtown, but you’re still well-connected to everything that matters. The location offers easy access to major business districts and cultural attractions throughout the city.
The Room Experience
My room was exactly what I needed after a long day of meetings — clean lines, comfortable bed, and thankfully, blackout curtains that actually work. The design is modern without being cold, if that makes sense. There’s plenty of space to spread out your stuff, which I always appreciate when I’m staying somewhere for more than just a night. The bathroom was well-appointed, and I mean, the shower pressure was solid — sometimes it’s the little things that make or break a stay. Each room is thoughtfully equipped with quality furnishings and modern amenities.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s where this place really shines, especially if you’re in town for business or trade shows. The hotel offers private parking, which is honestly a godsend in Munich where finding a spot can be a nightmare. Bogenhausen itself is this interesting mix of residential charm and business convenience — you’ve got the Isar River nearby for morning runs, but you’re also not far from the city center when you want to dive into Munich’s famous beer culture and historic sites. The neighborhood provides an ideal balance for both leisure and business travelers.
Breakfast & Dining
The breakfast setup here actually impressed me more than I expected. They’ve got this extensive buffet that covers pretty much every dietary need you can think of — continental classics, vegetarian options, vegan choices, gluten-free items, and even American-style offerings. I watched them accommodate a family with multiple food allergies without missing a beat. The restaurant area has good natural light, and the coffee is strong enough to get you moving in the morning, which is all I really ask for. The dining experience reflects the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction.
Why Guests Love It
What struck me most about NH München Messe is how it seems to get the balance right between professional efficiency and genuine comfort. Couples particularly seem to appreciate the peaceful Bogenhausen setting — it’s romantic without being stuffy, and you can actually have a conversation at dinner without shouting over crowds. The staff knows their stuff without being overly formal, and there’s something to be said for a place that delivers exactly what it promises without trying to oversell itself. It’s the kind of hotel where you sleep well, start your day properly, and don’t spend your time dealing with unnecessary complications. Guests consistently praise the hotel’s reliability and welcoming atmosphere.
Hotels near me in Munich offer convenient access to the old town, where guests can easily walk to Neues Rathaus, Viktualienmarkt, and traditional beer gardens.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made me feel comfortable and at ease from the moment I arrived. The bed was very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the room was cozy and relaxing—perfect for a good night’s sleep.
What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and made me feel genuinely welcome.Laham from Israel – 27 April 2025 (8/10)

We stayed here for the Adele concert, it was clean and quiet. They handed out little bags with sunscreen and rain ponchos for the concert goers which was a nice touch.
What could be improved: Like every hotel in Munich at this time, it was overpriced.Ioana from Romania – 6 October 2024 (8/10)
NH Messe offered us the room we have expected: large room, comfortable bed, coffee machine in the room, water. We were very pleased with the room we have received and we recommend the hotel!
