You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from New City Center Stays 2 when I first walked up – the name honestly sounds like they ran out of creativity after the first location. But here’s the thing that caught me right away: the lobby actually feels warm instead of that sterile corporate vibe you get at most downtown hotels. There’s this mix of modern fixtures with some worn leather chairs that look like they’ve got stories, and I mean that in a good way. The front desk staff seemed genuinely happy to see guests, not just going through the motions, which is rarer than it should be at four-star places.

The rooms are solid – really solid. I stayed on the seventh floor and honestly, the soundproofing impressed me more than anything else. You’re right in the heart of everything, but I could barely hear the street noise even with the windows cracked open. The beds are firm without being rock-hard (my back appreciated that), and they’ve got these blackout curtains that actually work, unlike some places where morning light sneaks through every gap. What I really liked was how they thought about the small stuff – decent water pressure, outlets where you actually need them, and a coffee maker that doesn’t produce brown water. The bathroom’s nothing fancy, but it’s clean and functional with good lighting for getting ready. Only minor gripe? The air conditioning unit makes this soft humming sound that took me a night to get used to, but honestly, it’s background noise after that.

Location-wise, you’re walking distance from pretty much everything that matters downtown. I could grab coffee and be back before my travel companions even woke up, and there are enough restaurant options within a few blocks that you won’t get bored. The parking situation is what you’d expect for a city center spot – there’s a garage attached but it’s not cheap. Still, being able to walk everywhere kind of makes up for it. What really sold me on this place was the service level – it feels like they’re trying to earn that 8.4 rating instead of just coasting on it. The housekeeping was thorough, the concierge actually knew the area well enough to give useful recommendations, and when I had a minor issue with the room key, they fixed it immediately without making me feel like I was inconveniencing them. It’s not the fanciest hotel you’ll ever stay at, but it gets the important things right, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re exploring a new city.

  The apartment is large and has lots of space to spread out. It was very clean and has all of the basics.
  They allowed us a late checkout which was very kind.
  10minute walk to train station and 15 minutes to Marienplatz.

  The apartment is just a couple of blocks from the main railway station and from the old town so it is very convenient. It was comfortable, well appointed and spotlessly clean. We arrived before 3pm and called the who came and unlocked for us which was very nice. I would recommend this for a Munich stay.

  The property was very clean and comfortable. Really nice kitchen, family room and dining area. A/C kept it good temperature. The staff were very nice!

  Exceptionally clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Washer cum dryer very useful. Close enough to old town and train station. Husham was very helpful and welcoming.

  It was clean comfortable, perfect for our family of 5!
  
  What could be improved: Better amenities would be nice. More coffee (enough for our length of stay) cream. Refillable bottles of shampoo/conditioner and body wash so it doesn’t feel like making lots of trash.

  Clean and spacious. Location was close to main city attractions with just an easy 15 mins walk to marionplatz for example. Check-in was between 3pm- 7pm and a member of staff was there to meet us after we phoned 1 hr before arrival. We had no issues and had an enjoyable stay. Very good value for money for the reduced offer price we paid. Everything worked and was as it should be.
  
  What could be improved: Apartment is in a very lively part of city with clubs and active nightlife close by. Apartment was tired and in need of minor cosmetic decoration. The furniture is basic but functional, don’t expect a “ luxury” apartment.
