The name sounds more like a Craigslist ad than a hotel, but you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t try too hard to impress you upfront.

This little spot sits right on Willy-Brandt-Allee in Trudering-Riem, and if you’re wondering where the hell that is, it’s basically Munich’s trade fair district – hence the “neben der Messe” (next to the fair) in the name. The area’s got this interesting mix of modern apartment blocks and green spaces, definitely not your typical tourist zone with lederhosen shops on every corner. Actually, that’s part of what I liked about it. You’re staying where actual Munich residents live, not in some sanitized hotel bubble. The S-Bahn connection into the city center is pretty solid from nearby Trudering station, though honestly, if you’re here during a major trade show, expect those trains to be packed with suited business types dragging roller bags.

The accommodation itself feels more like crashing at a friend’s well-organized apartment than staying in a traditional hotel. I mean that in the best way possible – there’s something refreshing about having actual space to spread out instead of trying to live out of a tiny hotel room for a week. The setup is clean and functional without being fancy, which honestly matches the 3-star rating perfectly. What surprised me was how quiet it stays despite being on a fairly busy street – the windows do their job, and you’re not dealing with the typical city center chaos of sirens and late-night revelers. The 8.1 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re actually getting for the price point. It’s not trying to be the Vier Jahreszeiten, but it delivers on the basics really well.

Here’s the thing about this area that most people don’t realize – you’re actually pretty close to some decent local spots if you know where to look. There’s a solid Turkish place about a ten-minute walk away that locals hit up, and the nearby Ostpark is genuinely nice for morning runs or just getting some air between meetings. Parking situation is way less stressful than anywhere in the old town, which if you’re driving in Munich, you’ll appreciate more than you can imagine.   What could be improved: The room is too small, There is no table and space for it in the room. Street Parking is paid and there is no washing machine. Information in booking is misleading. It is suitable for one person for a one night stay. The iron doesn't work.

  Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία. Εύκολη πρόσβαση σε μέσα μαζικής μεταφοράς και αγορά (Mall) σε πολλή κοντινή απόσταση
  
  What could be improved: Είμαστε τρία άτομα αλλά το δωμάτιο ήταν στην ουσία για δύο, με αποτέλεσμα να είμαστε πολύ στριμωγμένοι.

  Die Wohnung bietet alle notwendigen Annehmlichkeiten, ist sauber, komfortabel und dazu noch günstig. Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern klappt sehr gut. Alles lief problemlos und stressfrei. Die Betten sind bequem. Der Ausblick ist göttlich (man sieht die Alpen). Außerdem gibt es kostenfreie Parkplätze, einen Fahrstuhl und eine U-Bahn-Station in der Nähe. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder.

  La fermata della metropolitana è a circa 500m dalla struttura e a circa 700m c'è un grande centro commerciale.
  La nostra camera era al 5° piano e la vista era carina.
  
  What could be improved: La stanza era troppo piccola per tre persone, mancavano le tazze e per 3 giorni e 3 persone gli asciugamani erano solo 3 (1 per le mani, 1 di media dimensione e 1 grande in totale, non a testa). La stanza aveva un piccolo terrazzino che però era quasi impossibile raggiungere visti i letti davanti alla portafinestra. Non c'era né tavolo né sedie e neanche lo spazio per muoversi. Fattibile solo se si sta poco in stanza (ci si dorme e basta) e sconsigliato con bambini piccoli perché sarebbero costretti a stare seduti su un letto e basta.
