Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about the Munich Deluxe Hotel? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with flashy lobbies or over-the-top décor, but somehow that actually works in its favor. I mean, it’s solidly four-star – you can tell the moment you walk in that someone put thought into the details without going overboard. The lobby has this warm, understated vibe with dark wood accents and comfortable seating that actually looks like people use it, not just pose in it for Instagram shots.
The rooms are honestly better than I expected for a 7.5 rating. Sure, they’re not going to blow your mind, but they’re spacious enough that you’re not bumping into furniture every time you turn around, and the beds are genuinely comfortable – I’m talking about that sweet spot between too firm and too soft. What I really appreciated was the blackout curtains (Munich can get surprisingly bright during summer evenings), and the shower pressure was actually decent, which you know is always a gamble with European hotels. The Wi-Fi worked reliably throughout my stay, though it did slow down a bit during what I assume were peak hours around 8-9 PM when everyone’s probably streaming or video calling home.
Here’s the thing about staying here – location-wise, you’re not right in the thick of Marienplatz madness, but you’re close enough that a fifteen-minute walk gets you to all the main attractions without dealing with the tourist circus right outside your window. I found myself appreciating this balance, especially in the mornings when I could grab coffee and actually hear myself think before diving into the city. The staff seems genuinely helpful rather than going through the motions – when I asked about getting to the airport early on a Sunday, the front desk guy actually pulled out his phone to double-check the S-Bahn schedule with me instead of just handing over a generic transit map. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving (street parking fills up fast in this area), but they do have a garage arrangement nearby, though it’ll cost you extra. The breakfast buffet is… well, it’s fine. Nothing spectacular, but they have proper coffee and fresh bread, which covers the basics. Would I stay here again? Yeah, probably – it’s the kind of place that does what it promises without any unpleasant surprises, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re more focused on exploring the city than critiquing hotel amenities.

The rooms were clean, quiet and air conditioned.

Clean and comfy. The personel is very helpful. Even I made a reservation for a wrong day, they have changed without any hustle. Just next to a shopping mall.
What could be improved: Room is little small but ok for short stay. Around 10-15 minutes walk to Hbf and city centerRobin from United Kingdom – 28 February 2025 (9/10)
How modern the hotel was and the facalities in the room, couldnt ask for more, Less than 10 minutes walk from the train station
Samina from Canada – 25 January 2025 (7/10)
Location is good — close to many restaurants, shops and parking right in front.
The TV with Netflix, prime video and YouTube kept us entertained in the evenings.
What could be improved: Even though I booked a non-smoking room, there was some kind of smell we didn’t like. The rooms are very tiny, not much space, but over time you can get used to it.
The pillows are too soft and uncomfortable especially when the header is right above it. And the thin blankets weren’t enough to keep us warm in the winter 🥶. I tried to ask for any extra pillows or warmer blankets at the reception and have been told that they can’t help.Benjamin from United Kingdom – 4 January 2025 (8/10)
Nice room perfectly located in the centre of Munich.
Staff was friendly, check-in and checkout quick
What could be improved: I would have loved to have higher pressure in my showerMark from United States – 21 December 2024 (9/10)
Comfy bead, enough space for one person and good breakfast.
What could be improved: Shower cabin needs a door or else all the water gets all over bathroom floorAisha from Germany – 22 November 2024 (8/10)
The room was clean, comfortable, and included a cozy bed that ensured a great night’s sleep. We were pleasantly surprised to find a small balcony, which added a nice touch to our stay. The hotel’s location was also incredibly convenient, with a shopping mall situated right across the street.
What could be improved: The room was a bit cold when we arrived.Ana from Portugal – 7 November 2024 (6/10)
Location was convenient, everything was clean and functional and breakfast was good
What could be improved: The reception staff. Answering any question seemed like a huge chore.
The room is small, which is fine and I knew that before. But, considering the fact that there is no place to sit other than the bed, a second pillow would have been nice – specially because the headboard makes it soooo uncomfortable.Özdemir from Turkey – 22 October 2024 (9/10)
The location is good and the bad is comfortable and the romm was well-cleaned
What could be improved: There wasnt enough cabinet for putting clothes. The room is a bit small. The bathroom hasnt full-covered a shower cabin. For his reason, the water can go outside and getting wet.Dmytro from Spain – 11 October 2024 (8/10)
What could be improved: Small bad in 5th floor
