Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Mozart Apartment München, you’ll notice it sits quietly on Mozartstraße — and honestly, that’s part of its charm. This three-star property doesn’t try to overwhelm you with flashy signage or marble lobbies. Instead, it feels more like stepping into a well-appointed Munich apartment building, which is exactly what it is. The entrance has that understated German efficiency I’ve come to appreciate, and you immediately sense you’re in one of those neighborhoods where locals actually live and work.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about Ludwigsvorstadt — you’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough from the tourist chaos to breathe a little. The Hauptbahnhof is just a few minutes away (trust me, this matters when you’re dragging luggage), and you can walk to the old town without breaking a sweat. What really struck me was how this area feels authentically Munich. There are proper bakeries around the corner, not just tourist traps, and you’ll find yourself sharing the sidewalks with people heading to actual jobs rather than just other travelers with cameras.
The Apartment Experience
The Mozart Apartment München gives you exactly what the name suggests — apartment-style accommodations that feel like temporary residency rather than a hotel stay. The rooms are thoughtfully laid out with kitchenettes that actually work (I mean, you can cook a real meal here), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The decor is clean and modern without being sterile — sort of that Scandinavian-meets-Bavarian aesthetic that works surprisingly well. What I appreciated most was the attention to practical details: good lighting for reading, proper storage space, and windows that actually open for fresh air.
Daily Life & Practicalities
Since you’ve got kitchen facilities, you’ll want to know there’s a decent supermarket within walking distance — something I always scope out when staying somewhere with cooking options. The neighborhood has that lived-in quality where you can grab groceries, find a good coffee shop, or just sit in a local park without feeling like you’re performing tourism. The public transport connections are solid too, which matters in Munich where you’ll want to explore beyond the immediate area. I found myself using this place as a proper base rather than just somewhere to sleep.
Why Guests Love It
The location score of 9.4 isn’t just numbers on a screen — it reflects something real about how this place works for travelers. Couples especially seem to get it (they rated the location 9.0), probably because it offers that sweet spot of being central but not chaotic. You’re in Munich’s top-rated area, but you’re experiencing it more like a temporary resident than a tourist passing through. It’s the kind of place where you might find yourself planning a longer stay next time, just because it feels so naturally integrated into the city’s rhythm.

Guest Reviews
Great apartment in central Munich - much preferred to a hotel
Very comfortable space
Excellent location/ close to transport, shops and old town
Easy to access
Contained everything we needed
What could be improved: A few chipped plates
Had to clean dust from filter in hairdryer to get it working
Had to scrape ice from front of freezer
The apartment was well appointed, very roomy for 2 people, and in a great location. The metro was a short distance away and the area is also well serviced by buses and trams.
What could be improved: Little things - the bed is wedged against a bookcase and a wall so the only way to climb in and out is from the end of the bed.
The TV and streaming service set up is very convoluted and, despite instructions, wasn’t easy to get going.
The location is great as it's quieter than old town but only a short 20 min walk away (30 min direct walk to the hbf station), and is near some great traditional and craft beer venues along with good public transport links if desired.
The property itself is spacious, clean, comfortable, private, and secure. Feels like home.
Well appointed apartment in a great location. Excellent access to public transport, restaurants and Paulaner Haus.
The apartment was in a very convenient location with all sites easily accessible by a short metro ride. The apartment was clean, modern and had good amenities provided - e.g. providing kitchen towel, a welcome bottle of wine etc. We didn't lack anything! Very quiet at night too.
What could be improved: The pillows were lumpy and the mattress whilst serviceable wasn't as high quality as the rest of the apartment.
Really beautiful apartment, everything we could possibly need was there. Very helpful suggestions about the area (shopping and eating). Area was quiet, very convenient subway access.
What could be improved: When we were there the subway station was undergoing renovations so we had to figure out the replacement bus connection. Once we figured it out it was very convenient.
Good location and lovely apartment
It's a small apartment, but has a fully equipped kitchen and a really comfortable bedroom. Bed is big and soft. They have a tv and projector in the bed room. And there's a "Xbox" connect to the projector. The dinner table is huge and stylish.
What could be improved: The glass door of shower space leaves a little space between it and floor. You need to stand near the wall to prevent water to flood when you showering. And there's no drain hole on the toilet floor which means if you are not careful, you will have to use toilet with a flooded floor. That's a bit annoying.
great location next to a subway station, warm design and a “ready to use” kitchen !
What could be improved: we got one key - used to open the building stairway door as well as the apartment door. we concluded that every person who lived in the building can use the stairway door key to open our apartment. there is no latch from the inside of the apartment, and that definitely felt unsafe!
