You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from the Messe Munich Apartment when I first booked it – I mean, the name pretty much tells you it’s built for trade show visitors, right? But honestly, this place surprised me in the best way possible. The moment you walk in, there’s this clean, uncluttered vibe that just makes you exhale. It’s not trying to be fancy (it’s a solid 3-star setup), but everything actually works, which is more than I can say for some supposedly higher-end places I’ve stayed at.

The apartment layout is what really won me over – there’s actual space to spread out your stuff instead of living out of a suitcase for days. The kitchen isn’t just for show either; I actually cooked a proper breakfast there instead of paying hotel restaurant prices every morning. The bed situation is comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night, and the bathroom has decent water pressure (trust me, you notice these things when you travel a lot). What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – Munich can be pretty lively, but somehow this place manages to keep the city noise to a minimum.

Location-wise, well, it’s definitely geared toward people who need to be near the Messe, but that doesn’t mean you’re stuck in some business district wasteland. The public transport connections are actually really solid, so getting into the city center doesn’t become this whole production. I found myself taking the U-Bahn into town most evenings without any hassle. The area around the apartment has that authentic Munich residential feel – you’re not surrounded by tourist traps and overpriced restaurants, which honestly was refreshing. There’s a decent bakery within walking distance where locals actually go for their morning coffee and pretzels, and the grocery situation is sorted if you want to stock up on basics. Parking was surprisingly painless too, which anyone who’s driven in Munich will tell you is basically a minor miracle. The 8.8 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed there – it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but it delivers on everything it promises and then some. If you’re looking for a place that feels more like a temporary home base than a hotel room, this is your spot.

  Location is great to visit the Munich Messe. The room is excellent for a single traveller and would also have a kitchen corner available. Really nice stay

  We visited the fair so the location of the apartment is perfect (10 minutes walk to the fair). There is always free parking available, either on the street or in the garage. The building is always locked so it is very safe. We couldn't believe how quiet it was during the night. A very clean and comfortable apartment with a very beautiful bathroom. It is perfect for a short stay. The host is always available through mail or telephone. When we will again come to the fair we will definitely choose this apartment once again.

  Nice located room.With all the comfort that you need.The U-bahn station Messestadt West is 4 minutes away and the Riem-Arcaden with many stores for food and shopping. The balcony is nice,the kitchen fully equipped and the bathroom is perfect!!The bed is very soft and the pillows to!The area is very quiet!!Perfect for short vacation or long!!Strongly recommended!!

  Exceptional host, they provided me with very clear instructions, and even with a parking space. The location is great for the price: it's far from the city center but you have 2 U-Bahn stops nearby and it's a very convenient commute. There is a big mall nearby, multiple bakeries in the neighborhood, a huge park with a lake. The apartment is in a new house, everything was very nice. Definitely will choose this place for my next visit.

  Alles bestens! Die Gastgeberin hat sich sehr liebevoll um alle Kleinigkeiten gekümmert. Für die Größe der Wohnung ist sie durchaus zweckmässig eingerichtet, es sind genügend Kochutensilien vorhanden usw…. Gerne komme ich nächstes mal wieder.

  Eine kleines aber feines Apartment. Nur 700 MRT. von der Messe West und 500 MRT. von den Riem Arkaden entfernt. Die Ausstattung war vollständig und liebevoll vorbereitet. Auch für zwei Personen sehr gut geeignet. Die Übergabe war einfach.

  Sehr nach zur Messe, gute Ausstattung, großes plus unten im Haus gibt es eine fantastische Bäckerei die sogar am Sonntag offen hat. Sehr nah zur U-Bahn und den Riem Arkaden

  Das Apartment ist sehr komfortabel und gemütlich. Es ist alles vorhanden, was das Herz begeht (von Duschgel über Kaffee usw.). Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt und komme sehr gerne wieder.
