Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Marienplatz, and this apartment actually surprised me in a good way. You know how sometimes these rental listings oversell themselves? Well, this one’s pretty honest about what you’re getting – and honestly, what you’re getting works really well if you want to feel like you’re living in Munich rather than just visiting.

The location is the real winner here. I mean, you’re literally steps from all the tourist stuff (the Glockenspiel, Viktualienmarkt, all that), but here’s what the guidebooks don’t tell you – early mornings around Marienplatz are actually pretty magical before the crowds show up. I’d grab coffee from the little bakery on the corner and just walk around while the city was waking up. The apartment itself feels more spacious than most hotel rooms you’ll find in this area, which is saying something since Munich’s old city center isn’t exactly known for roomy accommodations. The kitchen’s actually functional too – not just some token setup with a mini-fridge and a prayer. I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because, well, eating out for every meal in this neighborhood gets expensive fast.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it stayed despite being right in the thick of things. The windows do their job, though you’ll still hear the occasional late-night reveler on weekends (comes with the territory). The two bedrooms make it perfect if you’re traveling with friends or family – nobody’s fighting over bathroom time, and there’s actual space to spread out your stuff. Check-in was straightforward, though I’d recommend coordinating arrival times since it’s not like a hotel with 24-hour front desk service. One thing that caught me off guard was how well-stocked the place was with basics – good towels, decent coffee maker, even some local guidebooks that were actually useful. The building itself has that solid, old Munich feel without being creaky or run-down, if you know what I mean. Honestly, for a 3-star rating, it punches above its weight. The 7.6 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it delivers on what it promises without any nasty surprises. If you’re the type who likes having your own space and maybe cooking a meal or two while still being able to walk to everything worth seeing, this place makes a lot of sense. Just don’t expect hotel-style service, and you’ll probably leave pretty happy with the choice.

  The location of the accommodation is excellent, in a quiet street, and although it is on the ground floor, it is absolutely safe and there is no noise. The check-in process went very smoothly, without any difficulties.
  
  What could be improved: A recommendation to highlight that the accommodation requires a deposit. This is not visible until you start the check-in process through communication with the owner’s team. The pillows could have been better.

  It was a great location and easy to find. Instructions were good. It was great for a stop over and priced well.
  
  What could be improved: We wished the towels were a bit bigger and better quality. We wished there was fans in both rooms it was very humid (not the fault of the apartment just Munich).

  The apartment was very spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. We also enjoyed the location. Having the fold-out couches was also nice, as was the big dining room table. The windows were very functional. The coverings could go from open to total blackout, and the windows themselves could either be tipped open from the top or opened along the side hinges.
  
  What could be improved: The space was warm and stuffy – there was a fan in each bedroom, but that was it. There was no freezer attached to the refrigerator. The coffee pot and fire stick did not work. There was mildew in the shower, and no counter space in the one small bathroom.

  Simple, spacious 3 rooms apartment.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is never properly cleaned after every group of people. The dust behind the beds, food waste and other things were found behind. Not enough towels were left for us..
  On the first night, we got an email to quiet down, so we did. Next day in the middle of the day get another email the same story, but this time there was nobody at the apartment.. Strange… What people expect when there's 9 people living under one roof?! Shame

  Sehr gute fast zentrale Lage und trotzdem ruhig. Das Appartment ist geräumig mit theoretisch 8 Schlafplätzen.

  Me gusto la ubicacion. Era amplio y limpio. Muy buena calefaccion. Y estaba equipado lo suficiente para una estadia breve. Lugar seguro, lo recomiendo.
  
  What could be improved: Nos costo entrar, porque no sabiamos cual era el apartamento. Al no tener datos, no pudimos ver el video. Deberian enviar el numero de apartamento antes. Nos ayudo un vecino.
