The Süd location means you’re actually positioned pretty well for day trips – whether you want to head into the city center or venture out toward the Alps for hiking (which, if you’re visiting between May and September, you absolutely should). Parking here doesn’t feel like solving a Rubik’s cube, which anyone who’s tried to navigate Munich’s old town with a rental car will appreciate. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward hovering around a tiny reception desk while other guests breathe down your neck.

The 4-star rating feels spot-on – it’s got all the essentials done well without any unnecessary frills that just jack up the price. You get reliable WiFi that actually works (tested it on video calls, no issues), decent water pressure in the shower, and windows that properly block out sound when you need to sleep. I did notice the walls could be a touch thicker – you might catch snippets of conversation from neighboring units if people are being particularly animated, but it’s not the paper-thin nightmare you sometimes get with budget places.
