Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Hotel Perlach Allee by Blattl? It’s one of those places that completely overdelivers on what you’d expect from a 3-star property. I mean, when you’re booking something in this price range, you’re usually just hoping for clean sheets and decent wifi – but this place actually has some personality to it. The whole Blattl brand thing makes more sense once you’re there; it’s got this contemporary Austrian vibe that feels thoughtfully put together rather than cookie-cutter corporate.
The location is honestly pretty smart if you know Munich at all. Perlach isn’t exactly the tourist center (you won’t be stumbling back from Oktoberfest), but that’s actually the beauty of it – you’re in a proper neighborhood where actual Müncheners live and work. There’s this great bakery literally around the corner that does incredible pretzels in the morning, and the U-Bahn connection gets you into the city center in about 20 minutes without the madness. I stayed here during a trade show period when everything downtown was either booked solid or ridiculously expensive, and it felt like I’d found this little secret. The staff seems to get a lot of business travelers and longer stays, so they’re really switched on about practical stuff – they helped me sort out a local SIM card and knew exactly which train I needed without me even asking.
What really won me over was the attention to small details that you don’t usually get at this level. The beds are genuinely comfortable (not just “fine for one night”), there’s actual water pressure in the shower, and someone clearly thought about lighting because you can actually read without squinting. The breakfast isn’t elaborate, but it’s proper – good coffee, local cheeses, and they don’t run out of everything by 9 AM like so many places do. There’s something refreshingly honest about the whole operation; they’re not trying to be a luxury hotel, but they’re doing the fundamentals really, really well. The only minor thing is that rooms facing the main road can pick up some traffic noise in the early morning, but honestly, it’s nothing compared to staying right in the city center. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like a smart local choice rather than an obvious tourist trap, this is exactly that kind of find.

Guest Reviews
The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated.
The breakfast was in buffet style with a big selection.
It's well located in a suburb of Munich, the centre is very easy to reach from the hotel with the metro
The room was clean and tidy. The bed was really comfortable and the whole stay was really nice. For the price I wasn’t expecting much, but it was really nice. The only thing was, that I could hear the neighbours and the room was quiet small. But it was expected and looked just like in photos :)
very close to the U-Bahn. There is a wonderful coffee shop in the next building. Quiet and cozy area of the city.
What could be improved: There was construction nearby at the time of our stay. but this is a temporary phenomenon...
The staff were very friendly and the hotel was nice and clean.
I would definitely come back here.
I would recommend this hotel.
What could be improved: Nothing, really.
Everything was good. Room was clean, bed was so comfortable.
The bed was very comfortable.
What could be improved: The room was big enough but small.
The rooms were comfortable and spotless, and the hotel is located in a charming neighborhood close to a metro station. We really enjoyed our stay. The receptionist was warm and extremely helpful. Plus, there’s convenient underground parking available for a fee.
Very well maintained hotel in a quiet neighbourhood close to metro. Easy to find parking around the hotel.
Room furniture was modern and well maintained. It's located in a nice suburb with grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Easy to get to by underground, just a few minutes walk.
What could be improved: Minibar is listed but there is not enough for all rooms. It must be requested in advance, but that's not clear in the listing.
We were in Munich for the Oktoberfest and this hotel was perfectly situated to get there and even had full instructions on how to do the festival. The rooms were great and food places close by. Staff very helpful and welcoming.
What could be improved: Nothing. It was great
