But this one actually surprised me in the best way possible. The moment you walk through the front doors, there’s this understated elegance that feels authentic rather than trying too hard. The lobby has this warm, lived-in quality with leather chairs that look like they’ve hosted countless conversations over coffee, and the staff genuinely seems to remember your name after the first day (which, let’s be real, doesn’t happen everywhere).

What really sets this place apart though is how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between professional service and feeling like you’re staying somewhere with actual personality. The rooms are thoughtfully laid out – I mean, someone clearly considered where you’d actually want to plug in your phone and how annoying it is when the bathroom light blinds you at 3 AM. The beds are properly comfortable, not just hotel-stiff, and the soundproofing is surprisingly good considering how lively the area can get during peak tourist season. I stayed there during what locals call the “shoulder season” in late spring, and honestly, that might be the perfect time – fewer crowds but everything’s still buzzing with energy.

The breakfast situation deserves a mention too because it’s one of those details that can make or break your morning routine when you’re traveling. They do this spread that’s clearly sourced locally (you can actually taste the difference in the bread), and the coffee doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around since dawn. There’s something to be said for starting your day somewhere that puts thought into the small things. The concierge desk is staffed by people who actually know the neighborhood – not just the obvious tourist spots, but where you should grab lunch if you want to eat where locals do, or which streets to avoid during the evening rush.   Lovely, Bavarian style hotel with outdoor parking on the grounds. Best breakfast ever! There’s a beer garden right next door and an ice cream stand across the street.

  Great spot for families! Room accommodated 5 of us easily! We were greeted by great staff and offered drinks, chocolates, etc. We also walked to the train and enjoyed the city by foot. Highly recommended stay!
