You know what struck me first about Hotel Kraft? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you – and that’s actually its biggest strength. Walking into the lobby, I got that immediate sense that this is a hotel run by people who understand what travelers actually need, not what some marketing department thinks they want. The 8.6 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here, honestly. It’s not trying to be a five-star palace (it’s solidly three stars), but what it does, it does really well.

The thing about Kraft is that it feels lived-in without being worn down, if that makes sense. My room had this comfortable, slightly European vibe – nothing fancy, but everything worked exactly as it should. The bed was one of those that hits that sweet spot between firm and soft, and I actually slept through the night without any of that typical hotel room weirdness keeping me up. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no upselling, no complicated key card explanations, just friendly efficiency from staff who seemed to genuinely care about getting you settled. I mean, the front desk guy even remembered my name the next morning, which is rare these days.

What really won me over was the attention to those little details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The shower had proper water pressure (thank god), there were enough outlets near the bed for charging devices, and the WiFi actually worked in every corner of the room – I’m talking full bars, not that barely-one-bar nonsense you get in so many places. Parking was straightforward without any of those nightmare scenarios where you’re circling blocks at midnight. Honestly, staying here felt like visiting that friend who’s got their life together – not flashy, but everything just works the way it should. If you’re looking for Instagram-worthy marble everything, this isn’t your spot, but if you want a place where you can actually relax and get a good night’s sleep without breaking the bank, Kraft delivers in all the ways that actually matter.
