I did notice some street noise on the lower floors during rush hour, so if you’re a light sleeper, maybe request something higher up.

The staff here genuinely seems to care about what they’re doing, which honestly makes such a difference. Check-in was smooth, no weird upselling tactics, and when I asked about good local spots for dinner, the front desk guy gave me actual recommendations instead of just pointing to the tourist traps. That 7.5 rating makes perfect sense to me – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it nails what it sets out to do. For the price point, you’re getting solid comfort, reliable service, and that slightly rare thing in hospitality these days: authenticity. If you’re looking for a place that feels more like a well-run local favorite than a generic chain property, Hotel Imperial delivers exactly that experience.

Hotel in Munich booking should be done early, especially during Oktoberfest when the city hosts the world’s largest beer festival and cultural celebration.

  The tram directly into the city is a few steps away, as well as as to the Pasing station in case you wanted to use another source of transportation. Lots of choices to eat within walking distance good value for your money. The staff is very helpful and very nice specially the cleaning cleaning crew

  Good transport links into city centre, great price to stay for a few nights during Oktoberfest. Comfortable rooms. Nice staff, easy check in and check out process.
