Overview
You know what? Hotel Europa really surprised me. I’ll be honest, when I first walked up to the place, I wasn’t expecting much from a 4-star hotel – but this one actually gets it right. The lobby hits you with this warm, old-world European vibe that doesn’t feel forced or theme-park fake. There’s real marble underfoot and these gorgeous brass fixtures that have clearly been there for decades, polished to perfection. The staff at check-in were genuinely friendly too, not just going through the motions.
What really sold me on this place was how they handle the details that other hotels mess up. The rooms are properly soundproofed – I mean, you’re not hearing every footstep from upstairs or doors slamming in the hallway at 6 AM. The beds are actually comfortable (not too soft, not like sleeping on concrete), and they’ve got these thick curtains that block out light completely if you need to sleep in. The bathroom situation is solid too – good water pressure, hot water that stays hot, and enough counter space for your stuff. I stayed here during peak season and honestly, the service never felt rushed or overwhelmed, which says something about how they run things.
Here’s the thing though – it’s the little touches that make Hotel Europa worth the money. The concierge actually knows the neighborhood and will steer you toward places locals go, not just tourist traps. There’s a quiet courtyard in back where you can have coffee in the morning without dealing with street noise. The Wi-Fi works everywhere (I tested it), and they’ve got enough outlets in the rooms so you’re not unplugging the lamp to charge your phone. Parking can be a bit tricky – there’s a small lot but it fills up fast, so definitely call ahead about that. The breakfast spread is nothing fancy but it’s fresh and there’s enough variety to keep you happy. With an 8.4 rating, this place sits right in that sweet spot where you’re getting genuine quality without paying resort prices. It’s the kind of hotel where you feel like you made a smart choice rather than just booking whatever was available.
Munich’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of Bavarian tradition and modern comfort, with many featuring brewery tour services and authentic Alpine hospitality.

Guest Reviews
Very good breakfast, very good location, clean and nice room and bathroom
What could be improved: It was cold in the room and there was no heating.
Excellent rooms, parking garage and breakfast
What could be improved: 30 minute walk to old town but that’s ok for us. You can catch uber if too much for you
Our superior double was large, quiet, clean,, and well appointed with separate seating area. It was located across a pleasant courtyard from the reception desk.. The cleaning staff and the people at the desk were all friendly and and always helpful. The breakfast buffet was fresh and ample with a good variety of choices. We recommend the on-site restaurant for a nice dinner though there are also many interesting restaurants nearby as well. The S-bahn to the center of the city is about two blocks away.
What could be improved: There was nothing we disliked, we stayed 9 days and had no problems. Though a number of tour groups came and went during our stay, the staff at the desk and in the dining room handled it smoothly, and in our courtyard room we were unaware of any hurly-burly.
What could be improved: Heated towel rail not working
Very nice hotel, parking place available, very good breakfast and good hospitality of their staff.
I like the location so much; it's near almost everything. I also liked the room; it was nice and comfy. In addition to that, the breakfast was really good, and the staff was friendly. Definitely, I would recommend that hotel.
What could be improved: Nothing
Clean and friendly staff
What could be improved: The breakfast options are not much
The hotel is very well located, comfortable, clean and quiet.
What could be improved: Please revise the cleaning approach. The cleaning team knocked on our door at 9:45am and opened the door immediately afterward to enter.
Please consider calling the room first or just open the door if the guests have already checked out.
Our room was very nice, spacious, cosy and nicely decorated. Despite the road next the hotel the room was silent.
What could be improved: -
* Check in was so easy.
* Room and Bathroom were neat, clean & wonderful.
* Wifi Signal was excellent.
* Room Service guys were very polite.
* So near From Airport Shuttle bus only 3 stops by tram and hotel so near from the tram stop.
