The Isar River is just a short stroll away, and getting to Marienplatz takes maybe fifteen minutes on foot. What I really appreciate is that you’re close enough to everything but tucked away on a quieter street — so you get the energy without the constant noise that comes with staying right on a main tourist drag.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully designed — you can tell they’ve put effort into making every square meter count. The furnishings feel solid and well-chosen rather than just functional, and there’s enough space to actually unpack and settle in for a few days.   It's location, staff and decor. Restaurant downstairs, roof terrace bar. Staff very accommodating. Loved the outlook from my inside verandah; no traffic noise.

  Great location and modern apartments. Amazing service by the staff. Room was always tidied. Free mini bar was a great perk.
  
  What could be improved: Shower head was annoying to use, when they cleaned the shower they turned it to face the wall. And it’s like it didn’t want to stick out to face you once the water pressure was turned on. Bathroom exhaust fan stays on for a long time which is very loud. But overall if that’s the only downfalls I think this place is great.

  b) cosy room: basic needs are well provided with taste, clean esp the bathroom

  The location was fantastic. We were able to walk to everything in the center of town and it was conveniently located between two metro stations. We also were pleasantly surprised with the rooftop bar and welcome drinks.

  Everything about Deutsche Eiche was well above my expectation, their attention to detail, their courtesy to guests, great breakfasts, cleanliness of bathrooms and room( including a great shower recess )generous gifts of water, beer and coke in the fridge every morning, absolutely perfect location. I highly recommend this hotel, without reserve………Gavin

  What could be improved: Munich was rainy so was shut in most of the time I spent at hotel, I had my sunglasses on and walked right into glass panel door face first, my fault but didn’t realize door was closed.
