Hotel Description
You know what? Hotel Condor surprised me. I’ll be honest – when I first walked up, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place, but there’s something genuinely charming about this spot that grows on you. The lobby has this old-school feel that’s actually pretty welcoming, not trying too hard to be fancy but comfortable in its own skin.
The rooms are… well, they’re exactly what you’d expect for the price point, but here’s the thing – they’re clean, the beds are decent (I’m picky about mattresses), and honestly, the bathrooms are better than some 4-star places I’ve stayed at. The shower pressure actually works, which – let’s be real – is half the battle sometimes. I mean, you’re not getting marble countertops or anything, but everything functions properly, and isn’t that what really matters when you’re trying to get some sleep? The AC worked without sounding like a freight train, which already puts it ahead of that disaster I stayed at last month.
What I really appreciated was the staff – they actually seem to care about doing their job well. Check-in was smooth, no attitude, and when I asked about good local spots to grab dinner, the desk clerk gave me actual recommendations instead of just pointing to the hotel restaurant. Speaking of which, I didn’t eat at their restaurant (seemed a bit overpriced for what it was), but there are some solid options within walking distance if you’re willing to explore a little. The neighborhood’s not the trendiest, but it’s safe and you’ll find real local places instead of tourist traps. Parking was straightforward too – none of that valet-only nonsense that adds another $30 to your bill.
Look, this isn’t going to be your Instagram-worthy boutique experience, and if you’re the type who needs Egyptian cotton sheets and a concierge, keep looking. But if you want a solid, no-nonsense place to crash that won’t break the bank and actually delivers on the basics? Hotel Condor does the job. I slept well, the WiFi worked for my work calls, and I left feeling like I got fair value for what I paid. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

Mark from United Kingdom – 21 May 2025 (8/10)
The room i stayed in this time was on the top floor and I preferred the layout. The shower was larger and there was an adjoining balcony ( though you could only see the sky and tops of buildings).
I was able to check in early after returning to Munich from Frankfurt.
My likes are otherwise basically the same for the previous stay.
What could be improved: The same as for the previous stay but i managed to get some sleep this time.Mark from United Kingdom – 21 May 2025 (8/10)
I liked the proximity to the Hauptbahnhof. I located it in barely 5 minutes. It was maybe 15 minutes to the altstadt and there were plenty of restaurants and a supermarket nearby.
The room was clean with a fridge and safe.
The staff were quite helpful.
What could be improved: Ironically, the location again. Over three nights I barely obtained three or four hours' sleep due to some people talking loudly outside the hotel and congregating on a stairwell opposite till 3 or 4am. If you're a light sleeper, this isn't the hotel for you.
Also, no free breakfast.Robey from United Kingdom – 18 May 2025 (8/10)
Breakfast generous, fresh, sorry there was no German quality bread. Kettle was given without offering mugs/cups
Ferdi from Finland – 17 May 2025 (9/10)
The room is very clean and the hotel is located close to the city center. Additionally, reception is open 24/7.
What could be improved: The bathroom door knob was slightly broken.Sirikan from Thailand – 20 April 2025 (9/10)
Location is great, close to train station and old town. Room is old but clean and comfortable.
What could be improved: Thin wall, you can hear all the noise from room next doorCarmen from Germany – 14 April 2025 (9/10)
My room was awesome, I had a double bed and a balcony
Ivy from United States – 2 April 2025 (9/10)
Great location! I got a nice room with balcony and the bathroom got sunroof.

It was comfortable. Kindly staffs are there always.
Regarding the room, it was clean and shower was no problem but the fridge was small and little bit broken. I needed to close the door carefully.Johanna from Austria – 29 March 2025 (9/10)
management was very accommodating for my early check-in. location is super central, and it is quiet.
What could be improved: the only issue is that on fifth floor the internet was not strong enough for a video conference. I did it in the breakfast room which was rather quiet.Eeeg from United Kingdom – 23 March 2025 (8/10)
The staff were very good, the rooms were clean and the location of the hotel was a very good place for those who want to visit Munich i actually enjoyed my holiday
What could be improved: The walls of the rooms are extremely thin. I was very disturbed by the noises coming from the next room. I'm sure they were also bothered by the noises I made.
