Hotel Concorde Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Hotel Concorde on Herrnstraße, you immediately get that feeling of stepping into something special without the pretentiousness that sometimes comes with four-star properties. The lobby has this understated elegance — not flashy, but you can tell they’ve put thought into every detail. What struck me most was how the staff seemed to genuinely recognize returning guests, and honestly, that makes sense when you learn this place has way more repeat visitors than most hotels I’ve stayed at.
Prime Munich Location
The location is honestly incredible — you’re right in the heart of Altstadt-Lehel, which means you can walk to pretty much everything that matters in Munich. I mean, couples rate this spot 9.5 out of 10, and after spending a few days here, I totally get why. You’re close enough to Marienplatz to hear the Glockenspiel if you really listen, but far enough from the tourist chaos to actually get some sleep. The English Garden is just a short stroll away, and you know what? That’s where you’ll want to spend your mornings with a coffee from one of the nearby cafés.
The Room Experience
My room was exactly what I hoped for — clean lines, comfortable bed, and those little touches that show someone actually thinks about what travelers need. The windows are properly soundproofed, which you’ll appreciate since you’re in the city center. The bathroom was modern without being sterile, and I actually had decent water pressure, which isn’t always a given in historic Munich buildings. Storage space was thoughtful too — enough hooks and surfaces that you’re not living out of your suitcase the whole time.
Breakfast Worth Waking Up For
The breakfast spread genuinely impressed me, and I’m usually pretty skeptical about hotel breakfasts. They’ve got everything covered — continental classics, American options, plus solid vegetarian and gluten-free choices that don’t feel like afterthoughts. It’s buffet-style, but the quality feels more like what you’d get at a good restaurant. The coffee is actually decent (not always guaranteed in Germany, despite what people think), and they keep everything well-stocked even during busy periods.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how they handle the details that matter. Private parking right at the hotel — and if you’ve ever tried to park in central Munich, you’ll know that’s worth its weight in gold. The staff strikes that perfect balance between being helpful and giving you space to enjoy your stay. Plus, there’s something to be said for a hotel where people keep coming back — it tells you they’re doing something right beyond just having a great address. You’re paying for location and reliability here, and honestly, you’re getting both.

All very good.
Evelyn from United States – 10 May 2025 (9/10)
Location could not have been better. We could walk to everything in the historic city center.
What could be improved: Our room was on the warm side and changing the thermostat did not have any discernable effect. We opened the window and it cooled off at night.Viorel from Romania – 5 May 2025 (9/10)
Location, helpful staff, quiet room (on our express request)

What could be improved: Room was a little small.Hannah from United Arab Emirates – 22 April 2025 (8/10)
Very friendly staff and great location. The children loved the fish tank in the lobby!
Hayri from United States – 5 April 2025 (7/10)
I liked the location, the breakfast, cleanness.
I didn’t like the tiny small room, tiny small elevator, and rusty internet connection.Justina from Lithuania – 4 April 2025 (7/10)
Perfect location, several minutes to the centre, around the corner we found out perfect place for beer (it’s Hofbräuhaus München, I think it’s must to visit despite of sightseeing places). A little disappointed thing for us was room location, it was in the basement (I wasn’t informed about it when I was booking the room). Breakfast was not something special but you can get every basics and in a really good quality (it was a little bit a surprise for me). So you can get delicious breakfast quickly and you will have more time for exploring the city:)

Brilliant location, friendly staff, clean & comfortable rooms ( complete with kettle etc) and super breakfast!
