Hotel Brack

Overview

You know what? Hotel Brack really surprised me. When I first walked in, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place, but honestly, it punches way above its weight class. The lobby has this understated charm — nothing flashy, just clean lines and comfortable seating where you actually want to hang out for a few minutes while sorting out your day.

The rooms are where this place really wins you over. Sure, they’re not huge, but whoever designed them actually thought about how real people use hotel rooms. The beds are properly comfortable (I’m talking about that sweet spot where you’re not sinking into a marshmallow but you’re not sleeping on concrete either), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. What I really appreciated was the attention to little things — outlets where you need them, decent water pressure in the shower, and curtains that actually block out light when you want to sleep in. The whole place feels fresh and well-maintained, which goes a long way when you’re staying somewhere for more than just crashing for the night.

Here’s the thing about Hotel Brack that really sets it apart — the staff actually seem to care about what they’re doing. Check-in was smooth and friendly without being overly chatty, and when I had questions about getting around, they gave me genuinely useful advice instead of just pointing to a tourist map. The housekeeping is solid too; I mean, my room was consistently clean without that weird artificial smell some places use to cover up… well, whatever they’re trying to cover up. The breakfast situation is pretty decent for what you’re paying — nothing fancy, but good coffee and enough variety that you won’t get bored if you’re staying for several days.

I stayed during what seemed like a busy period, and while there was definitely activity in the halls, it never got disruptively noisy. The walls aren’t paper-thin, which is more than I can say for some places I’ve stayed that cost twice as much. Parking was straightforward, though you might want to ask about it when you book since it can fill up during peak times. The whole experience just felt… reliable, I guess? Like, you know you’re going to be comfortable and well taken care of without any nasty surprises. For a 3-star hotel pulling an 8.4 rating, that makes perfect sense to me — sometimes the best places are the ones that just do everything right without trying to be something they’re not.

Apartments in Munich provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Bavarian markets and cook with regional Alpine specialties.

Very clean and comfortable, good price and excellent location just outside the metro station. Very nice personnel, as others mentioned the breakfast is not the best I have seen but it is enough, I think they don’t want to waste food and I agree with that. I recommend this place

Super helpful and Friendly staff. V comfortable bed and excellent location for the Frühlingsfest on Theresienwiese.
There is a small lift and the breakfast was good.
Our room was very quiet even though it faced the street and the en-suite was also good.

What could be improved: Our room was big enough for us for two nights but it wasn't very spacious.

For solo travelers, the hotel offers single beds, and the pricing is very reasonable in this regard. The hotel staff is very warm and helpful. Although there is no open buffet for breakfast, they do their best to accommodate our requests. The breakfast was quite filling and delicious for me. The location is excellent—you can reach the metro station in just 2-3 minutes on foot. The hotel is old, but the rooms were very clean. If I visit Munich again, I would definitely stay here again! :)
