Here’s the thing that made it work for me – the staff genuinely seem to know Munich well. I asked the front desk about getting to some lesser-known beer gardens, and instead of just pointing me toward Hofbräuhaus like most places would, they gave me specific directions to a couple local spots that were absolutely perfect. The breakfast situation is solid too – nothing fancy, but they have proper German bread and decent coffee, plus enough variety that you won’t get bored if you’re staying multiple days. Parking was straightforward (and honestly, having secure parking in Munich without paying through the nose is worth mentioning). The whole experience felt… well, it felt like staying somewhere run by people who actually live in the city and want you to have a good time, rather than just checking boxes on a corporate hospitality manual. For the price point and that 8.3 rating, it makes total sense – it’s the kind of place that doesn’t wow you with flashy amenities but just does everything right without any drama.
