When I first walked into H.ome Serviced Apartments München, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a three-star property — but this place surprised me in the best way. The living area flows nicely into the sleeping space, and there’s enough storage that you don’t feel like you’re living out of a suitcase. What I appreciated most was how everything felt thoughtfully designed rather than just thrown together. The Wi-Fi actually works well throughout the entire unit, which isn’t always a given in older Munich buildings.

Location Perks

Am Oberwiesenfeld might not sound familiar, but trust me — this location works brilliantly. You’re in the Milbertshofen-Am Hart district, which locals know as one of those up-and-coming areas that hasn’t been completely touristified yet. The U-Bahn connections are solid, getting you to Marienplatz in about 20 minutes, and there’s actual parking on-site (which anyone who’s driven in Munich will tell you is worth its weight in gold). I loved being able to walk to local bakeries and shops that cater to residents rather than tourists — you get a real feel for how Munich actually lives.

Daily Comforts

The room setup really shines for longer stays, though even if you’re just here for a weekend, having space to spread out feels luxurious. Housekeeping comes regularly but isn’t intrusive, and they’re flexible about timing if you need to work around your schedule. The building itself is well-maintained — elevators work smoothly, hallways are clean, and you don’t hear much noise from neighboring units. There’s a small fitness area that’s nothing fancy but has the essentials if you want to squeeze in a workout.

What keeps people coming back here (and apparently there are quite a few repeat guests) is how effortless everything feels. You’re not paying for marble lobbies or fancy spa treatments, but you get reliable comfort and genuine value.   I’ve stayed at this place multiple times during Oktoberfest and have always found it to be a great value. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and it’s conveniently close to the metro line.

  The room and bathroom were fine, for single occupancy. Nice, quiet residential area.
  Very close to metro station 20-30 min from downtown.
  Luggage was stored in the neighbouring hotel after check out.
  
  What could be improved: I arrived when it was dark, it took some time to find the reception which is, in fact, in the tall hotel on the corner.
  But check-in was very fast.
  Staff was rather cold, indifferent but efficient.

  Coming to partake a weekend event in Olympiahalle, which is a good 20 minutes walk down the park, I came with low expectations and was honestly surprised by how comfortable the whole apartment looks at first sight.
  Pretty much everything is new and modern, I found out how most of the things work in few touches.
  The kitchen – well I'd have used the kitchen, but with some schedules here and there and supermarkets are a bit out of comfy walking ranges, I ended up not using it. But at least that's a good table to brew tea and coffee, or you even have plates and stuffs to use for takeouts/delieveries! Munich is full of good stuffs that delivers! (Just please wash the plates too lol)
  Also, the major plus is that subway U3 is just right around the corner. When you need to go somewhere, you can get there pretty quickly. Lots of Scooters in front of the hotel to rent as well, if you want to take a quick way down to Olympiahalle/Stadion (or supermarket)
  
  What could be improved: Honestly I don't have a lot to complain here. Maybe just an up to date notion in app/webpage that check in is done in the H2 hotel on the main entrance in front – still they put a paper on the door noting that. That's a few extra steps around the building but still very minor workaround.
  Also, with the location being right at Olympia Park you are pretty much in a good spot if your main reason is the event there. But with the lack of supermarket in walkable reach, you may need to prepare a bit in advance – or using delivery services or rental scooters nearby!

  I like staying in this accommodation. It is located quite close to the bus stop and U-Bahn station. A mall, McDonalds, MediaMarkt, and Decathlon are only three bus stops. Very convenient. Just a little advice. It would be good if this accommodation provided an iron and ironing board.
