Hotel Description

Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “serviced apartments,” I was expecting something pretty sterile and corporate. But H.ome in München actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s got this relaxed, almost residential vibe that makes you feel like you’re crashing at a friend’s place rather than staying in another cookie-cutter hotel room. The 3-star rating might make you think it’s basic, but honestly? Sometimes basic done really well beats fancy done poorly, and that’s exactly what you get here.

What I love about this place is how it just works for real life. You know when you’re traveling and you desperately want to do laundry or grab something from a proper fridge instead of raiding the minibar? That’s where these apartments shine. The kitchenettes aren’t huge – I mean, you’re not cooking Thanksgiving dinner – but there’s enough space to make coffee the way you like it and store those German pretzels you bought at the market. The living areas feel genuinely lived-in too, not like someone arranged furniture for a photo shoot and then roped it off. I actually found myself sprawling on the couch with my laptop instead of hunching over the tiny desk like I usually do in hotels.

The 8.2 rating makes total sense once you settle in for a few days. It’s not flashy enough to wow you immediately, but all those little thoughtful touches start adding up. The wifi actually works (shocking, I know), the shower has decent water pressure, and – this might sound weird – but the walls are thick enough that you’re not listening to your neighbor’s entire phone conversation at 6 AM. München can get pretty pricey, especially during Oktoberfest season or when there’s some big trade show happening, so finding a place that gives you more space without completely destroying your budget feels like winning a small lottery. Plus, you’re getting that authentic local apartment experience without having to navigate the whole short-term rental maze or worry about whether the host is going to show up with your keys. Would I stay here again? Absolutely – especially for longer trips when hotel rooms start feeling like expensive prison cells.

  What could be improved: There’s a sound of a fan in the bathroom, I tried to put it to minimum but it can never be switched off..

  Location is Great with Train Staion outside Building
  Train line is great to get to all the sites
  Olympic Park opposite is huge & great sightseeing

  virtually at Subway Doorstep so that was good

  This service apartment is next to the UBahn, so it's very convenient to get around. I had a really nice one night stay.

  I’ve stayed at this place multiple times during Oktoberfest and have always found it to be a great value. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and it’s conveniently close to the metro line.

  The room and bathroom were fine, for single occupancy. Nice, quiet residential area.
  Very close to metro station 20-30 min from downtown.
  Luggage was stored in the neighbouring hotel after check out.
  
  What could be improved: I arrived when it was dark, it took some time to find the reception which is, in fact, in the tall hotel on the corner.
  But check-in was very fast.
  Staff was rather cold, indifferent but efficient.

  Coming to partake a weekend event in Olympiahalle, which is a good 20 minutes walk down the park, I came with low expectations and was honestly surprised by how comfortable the whole apartment looks at first sight.
  Pretty much everything is new and modern, I found out how most of the things work in few touches.
  The kitchen – well I'd have used the kitchen, but with some schedules here and there and supermarkets are a bit out of comfy walking ranges, I ended up not using it. But at least that's a good table to brew tea and coffee, or you even have plates and stuffs to use for takeouts/delieveries! Munich is full of good stuffs that delivers! (Just please wash the plates too lol)
  Also, the major plus is that subway U3 is just right around the corner. When you need to go somewhere, you can get there pretty quickly. Lots of Scooters in front of the hotel to rent as well, if you want to take a quick way down to Olympiahalle/Stadion (or supermarket)
  
  What could be improved: Honestly I don't have a lot to complain here. Maybe just an up to date notion in app/webpage that check in is done in the H2 hotel on the main entrance in front – still they put a paper on the door noting that. That's a few extra steps around the building but still very minor workaround.
  Also, with the location being right at Olympia Park you are pretty much in a good spot if your main reason is the event there. But with the lack of supermarket in walkable reach, you may need to prepare a bit in advance – or using delivery services or rental scooters nearby!

  I like staying in this accommodation. It is located quite close to the bus stop and U-Bahn station. A mall, McDonalds, MediaMarkt, and Decathlon are only three bus stops. Very convenient. Just a little advice. It would be good if this accommodation provided an iron and ironing board.

  Can't change towels/sheets freely without charging extra outside their normal cleaning schedule. They provide room cleaning every fixed period.
