Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Flatista Homes,” I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name sounds a bit corporate, you know? But Luise completely changed my mind about these apartment-style stays. This place has that perfect sweet spot vibe where you get the independence of your own space without feeling like you’re totally on your own in a foreign city.

What really got me was how the space actually feels lived-in rather than sterile. I mean, it’s clean and everything, but there are those little touches that make you think someone actually cares about this place – decent coffee in the kitchen (not those terrible instant packets), proper hangers in the closet, and honestly, a shower with actual water pressure. The 8.9 rating makes total sense once you’re there because it’s those small details that add up. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward waiting around in a lobby while they “prepare your room.” You get your keys, you’re in, and you can immediately start living like a normal person instead of a tourist.

Here’s the thing though – this isn’t trying to be a fancy hotel, and that’s exactly why it works. It’s more like staying at a friend’s place who happens to have really good taste and knows how to make guests comfortable. The location puts you right in the middle of things without being on one of those crazy busy streets where you can’t sleep because of traffic (learned that lesson the hard way in other cities). You’ll find yourself walking to dinner instead of taking cabs everywhere, which honestly saves you a ton of money and gives you a better feel for the neighborhood. I noticed locals actually using the same streets and shops, which is always a good sign – means you’re not stuck in some tourist bubble. The building itself is quiet enough that you’ll sleep well, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. It’s that three-star rating that actually works in its favor because there’s no pretension, just solid execution on the basics that actually matter when you’re trying to enjoy a trip.

  Completely new, modern apartment, comfy beds, all that you need is there, kind owner, clear instructions for check in/out, helpful tips. Lot's of restaurants nearby, Lidl, buses, trams, 2 metro stations, near city center, Big recommendation!

  Era nuevo,habitaciones grandes y ubicación buena. Decoración bonita.
  
  What could be improved: Se adelantaron al alquilar no lo comprobaron.
  La puerta de uno de los aseos no cerraba.
  El termo de agua caliente no funcionaba estaba sin instalar.
  La alarma estaba sin comprobar y a la 1 de la mañana empezó a sonar. Estuvimos llamando al número se contacto nos colgó y apagó el teléfono. Estuvimos toda la noche sin dormir. A las 5 de la mañana contactó con nosotros, sin darnos solución hasta las 8 de la mañana.
  En el edificio estaban todavía de obra y a las 7:30 ya estaban haciendo ruido (claro estaban trabajando).
  Nos vinimos sin poder utilizar un aseo porque seguíamos sin agua caliente. Y la puerta del otro abierta sin poder cerrar.

  What could be improved: Wir hätten uns über einen Hinweis auf die laufenden Sanierungsarbeiten in den anderen Wohnungen des Hauses gewünscht. Diese haben naturgemäß viel Schmutz und vor allem Lärm (in der Woche) verursacht… Wenn die mal abgeschlossen sind, ist das eine tolle Wohnung!
