Overview
So I stumbled across the Feringapark Hotel by Coffee Fellows Hotels last spring, and honestly? It’s one of those places that grows on you. First impression – it’s not trying to be some grand palace in Munich’s city center, and that’s actually refreshing. You’re in Unterfohring, which I know sounds like you’re in the middle of nowhere if you don’t know Munich, but here’s the thing – you’re literally a stone’s throw from the Allianz Arena and super close to the U-Bahn connections that’ll get you into Marienplatz in about 20 minutes.
The Coffee Fellows branding isn’t just slapped on the door either. I mean, you can smell the coffee brewing when you walk through the lobby, and they’ve got this whole setup where you can actually grab a decent cappuccino without trekking to some overpriced hotel restaurant. The rooms themselves – well, they’re modern in that clean, minimalist way that either appeals to you or doesn’t. I appreciated the blackout curtains (seriously underrated feature) and the fact that the Wi-Fi actually worked at decent speeds. The shower pressure was surprisingly good too, which you don’t always get with these newer chain properties. One small thing that bugged me? The walls are a bit thin, so if you’ve got neighbors who like late-night TV, you’ll know about it.
What really sold me on this place was the staff – they seemed to actually know the area instead of just reading from a script. When I asked about getting to the BMW Museum, the front desk guy gave me this whole rundown about taking the U6 and where to switch lines, plus he mentioned this little Turkish place on Leopoldstrasse that turned out to be fantastic. The location really works if you’re doing business stuff around the northern suburbs or if you want to be near the airport but not right on top of it – it’s maybe a 15-minute drive to Terminal 2. Plus, there’s decent parking (which, let’s be honest, is gold in Munich), and you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos of the Altstadt. The 7.8 rating feels about right – it’s solid, reliable, does what it promises without any major surprises good or bad. You know what I’d stay here again for? The combination of being able to get into the city easily but coming back to somewhere that feels more like a neighborhood than a tourist trap.
Apartments in Munich provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Bavarian markets and cook with regional Alpine specialties.

Great rooms and breakfast!
Super clean, nice hotel. Loved that the lobby was a nice coffee shop
What could be improved: The parking situation was awful. We had a super early flight and no one runs the counter in the morning and we couldn’t leave the parking lot. Thank you to the young man that helped us but omg we had to wait 45 minutes to find a worker and almost missed our flight.
