I mean, with a name like that, you’re expecting either complete disappointment or some over-the-top Vegas-style situation, but it’s actually neither. It sits right in that sweet spot where you get more than you paid for without breaking the bank.

The lobby hits you first – and I’m talking about this in a good way. There’s this warm, woody smell mixed with something that might be vanilla, and the lighting is actually thought out instead of those harsh fluorescents that make everyone look like they’re dying. Check-in was smooth when I rolled in around 2 PM on a Thursday, though I heard from the front desk guy (super helpful, by the way) that weekends can get a bit hectic with the wedding crowds they apparently get. The rooms are honestly better than the 3-star rating suggests – I mean, you’re not getting marble bathrooms or anything, but the beds are legitimately comfortable, and there’s enough space that you’re not tripping over your suitcase every time you need to grab something. The AC actually works properly, which sounds basic but you’d be shocked how many places mess that up.

Here’s the thing though – and this is where it gets interesting – the staff really makes this place. I had an issue with the Wi-Fi on my second night (it kept cutting out during a work call, naturally), and instead of giving me some generic “try turning it off and on again” response, the maintenance guy actually came up and sorted it out in like ten minutes. Plus, the housekeeping team doesn’t just rush through everything – they actually fold your clothes if you leave them on the chair, which is such a small touch but it matters. The location works well if you know how to navigate the area, and honestly, you’re close enough to the main action without dealing with all the noise and chaos that comes with being right in the thick of things. Parking is included, which saves you a decent chunk of change, and there’s this little coffee setup in the lobby that runs until about 10 PM – not amazing coffee, but definitely drinkable and free. The only real downside I noticed is that the walls aren’t the thickest, so if you get stuck next to a family with young kids or someone who thinks phone conversations should be conducted at stadium volume, you’ll know about it. But honestly, for what you’re paying and what you get, Fast Stay Luxury delivers on its promise without all the pretentious nonsense that usually comes with places trying to sound fancy.
