Here’s what I love about the location on Arnulfstr — you’re in Maxvorstadt, which honestly feels like the sweet spot in Munich. You’re close enough to the Hauptbahnhof that getting anywhere is ridiculously easy, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with all the chaos and noise. The couples who stay here clearly get it (they rate the location 8.9, which is pretty telling), and I can see why. You can walk to the old town, but you’re also perfectly positioned for day trips or catching trains to other cities. Plus, there’s parking at the hotel, which — trust me — is a game-changer if you’re driving in Munich.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d want after a long day of exploring — comfortable without being flashy, with all the little touches that matter. The beds are genuinely comfortable (not just hotel marketing speak), and the bathrooms are well-designed with good water pressure. What struck me was how quiet everything was, despite being in the city center. The soundproofing actually works, which you don’t always get even in nice hotels.

Breakfast & Dining

The breakfast buffet is where this place really shines, honestly. It’s not just the usual continental spread — they’ve got a proper selection of local specialties alongside international options. The coffee is actually good (I’m picky about this), and they keep everything fresh throughout the morning service. You know what I appreciated? The restaurant staff seemed to remember guests from day to day, which gives the whole place a more personal feel than your typical business hotel.

  It was a lovely hotel, it was very clean and the reception staff were excellent. The food in the bar was lovely and the breakfast was exceptional. Great location – just a few stops on the tram (outside the door) into the centre of Munich and a 5 minute walk to the train that gets you to the airport (€16).
  
  What could be improved: It was very good. Few minor things – The gym is small (ok when I was in there early on my own but by 8 it was crowded with only 5 people). There is no iron/ironing board in the room but reception will provide one if needed.

  What could be improved: Bed's far too soft. I wanted a double bed and got 2 singles instead. Teach some of your front office staff the importance of eye contact and perhaps an occasional smile! 😄

  Very spacious room and well located just close by to the ZOB and train station too. Clean room and nice facilities too with nice transport links too.
