Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Creo München Süd, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place on the south side of the city. But you know what? Sometimes these unassuming spots end up surprising you, and this one actually delivers more than you’d think for what you’re paying.
The thing about staying south of Munich’s center is that you’re getting into the real residential areas where locals actually live – none of that touristy hustle you get near Marienplatz. I mean, sure, you’re not walking to the Viktualienmarkt in five minutes, but the S-Bahn connections from this part of town are honestly pretty solid, and you’ll save yourself a decent chunk of change compared to those central hotels that charge you extra just for the ZIP code. The staff here seems to get that most guests are either business travelers or smart tourists who’d rather spend their money on actual experiences than overpriced city center rooms. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no weird upselling attempts or confusing key card explanations.
What really won me over, though, was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between basic and comfortable. The rooms aren’t trying to be something they’re not, but everything works properly (which honestly can’t be said for some fancier places I’ve stayed). The beds are actually decent – not those rock-hard European mattresses that leave you feeling like you slept on concrete. And here’s something I appreciated: the sound insulation is better than expected. Munich’s south side isn’t exactly quiet with all the residential traffic, but inside these rooms, you’re not hearing every car door slam at 6 AM. The bathrooms are small but functional, with water pressure that doesn’t make you question your life choices. Little details like having enough outlets near the bed and decent Wi-Fi throughout the building show they’ve thought about what travelers actually need rather than what looks good in photos. The breakfast situation is pretty standard continental fare – nothing that’ll blow your mind, but it gets the job done if you’re heading out for a day of exploring and just need some fuel in the tank.
The concierge service in Munich can arrange exclusive castle tours, secure reservations at traditional beer halls, and organize day trips to Neuschwanstein Castle and the Bavarian Alps.

Everything was great. Thank you very much!
What could be improved: We have left on Sunday early morning but reception was closed. I did not know where to deposit a key. So I asked my friend who lives in Munich to do this.Petra from Czech Republic – 16 January 2025 (8/10)
All good. Just an overnight stay.
Maria from Greece – 28 October 2024 (9/10)
Clean and spacious room. The property is close to U-bahn station, very close to supermarket and provides parking space at extra charge. Ideal for our stay which was a mix of leisure and relocation to start studies.
What could be improved: Rather expensive, even if taking into consideration the particular period of the year (Octoberfest).Matthew from United Kingdom – 6 October 2024 (8/10)
Clean and well-maintained
What could be improved: Distance isn't ideal but during Oktoberfest is acceptablePriscila from Brazil – 29 September 2024 (9/10)
Everything was new and modern. Rooms had a little kitchen, shower was great, beds were comfortable, and staff was helpful!
What could be improved: Bathroom had no curtain nor shower doors, this left the bathroom very wet after showering. There wasn’t a communal area for guests. Coffee machine instead of freshly made coffee.Andrew from United States – 28 September 2024 (8/10)
Nice, clean functional room w/ mini-fridge. Very close to Aldi market
What could be improved: Neighborhood was a little industrial for the price, but met our needs
