You know what struck me first about this place? It actually feels like someone’s apartment – and I mean that in the best possible way. When I walked into the Cozy Trade Fair Apartment Munich, I wasn’t hit with that sterile hotel lobby smell or aggressive air conditioning. Instead, it felt lived-in and welcoming, which honestly was exactly what I needed after a long day navigating Munich’s trade fair crowds.

The location is pretty smart if you’re here for business – you can tell they really thought about who stays here. I mean, the name gives it away, but it’s not just convenient for the Messe (that’s the big exhibition center for anyone not familiar with Munich). What I loved was how quiet it gets in the evenings, even though you’re not stuck way out in some business district with nothing around. There’s this little bakery about two blocks away that opens ridiculously early – perfect if you’re jet-lagged and awake at 5 AM like I was. The apartment itself has this efficient German thing going on where everything just… works. The kitchen actually has proper coffee (not those terrible pod machines), and there’s enough space to spread out your laptop and papers without feeling cramped.

I’ll be honest, it’s not going to win any design awards – the furniture is more functional than Instagram-worthy – but that 8.0 rating makes sense when you consider what matters for an actual stay. The bed was genuinely comfortable, the shower had good pressure, and the Wi-Fi didn’t cut out during my video calls (which, let’s be real, is basically a miracle in some European accommodations). What surprised me was how well they’ve soundproofed the place; Munich can get pretty lively, especially during trade fair season, but I slept through the night without any issues. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward waiting around in a lobby while they “prepare your room.” If you’re the type who values substance over style and wants a place that feels more like a temporary home than a hotel room, this spot delivers. It’s the kind of place I’d actually recommend to colleagues without worrying they’d think I sent them somewhere questionable.

  A lot of space, kitchen is well-equipped, 2 slipping places are great, the heating works well, it was very warm in the winter. It sounds like the space has undergone a thoughtful and high-quality transformation. The presence of suspended ceilings and a commercial layout likely hint at its original purpose, but it seems the renovation team paid great attention to detail, creating a polished and inviting environment. Conversions like this often strike a balance between functionality and aesthetics, making them unique and full of character.

  Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα, πολύ άνετο για οικογένεια και πολύ καθαρό. Η τοποθεσία είναι αρκετά καλή, 30 λεπτά ως την Marienplatz με το μετρό. Η στάση είναι περίπου 7 λεπτά με τα πόδια. Σε πολύ κοντινή απόσταση βρίσκεις σούπερ μάρκετ και εστιατόρια.

  Appartamento pulito, grande e con tutti i confort. Wifi top e con possibilità di parcheggio interno sotterraneo. Ristorante attaccato all'appartamento, due supermercati a 5 minuti a piedi. A meno di 10 minuti c'è sia un bar che un panificio dove puoi fare colazione. Noi eravamo in macchina ma a pochi minuti c'erano delle corriere per raggiungere la città che, sicuramente meglio perché in macchina ci abbiamo messo una vita poiché città bloccata a causa attentato il giorno prima

  Die Lage der Unterkunft
  
  What could be improved: Beim betreten der Unterkunft kam ein muffiger geruch endgegen weswegen man erstmal lange alle fenster geöffnet hatte
  Die Räume waren alle sehr kalt Heizung wurden nicht richtig warm
  Tv zwar vorhanden aber nicht möglich zu schauen ausser man meldet sich mit eigene Daten bei netflix und Co an
  Es hat an ausreichend besteck für 4 Personen gefehlt
  Es ist kein wasserkocher wie angegeben in der Wohnung
  Es gibt dort keine Garderobe um die jacken vernünftig hin hängen zu können
  Die Fenster bzw Terrassentür war von oben bis unten extrem verschmutzt
  Ein Lichtschalter für 2 Räume den man erstmal suchen mußte (nicht an der Tür wie es normalerweise ist)
  Alte Elektrogeräte (Kühlschrank,herd)auf der Terrasse

  Unterkunft ist auf keinen Fall zu empfehlen. Bekam 24 h vor Aufenthalt eine Stornierung.
  Vermieter war obendrauf noch sehr unfreundlich als ich Ihn kontaktiert habe.
  Wir mussten eine viel teuerer Unterkunft buchen und bekamen einen Teil von booking zurück erstattet. Das Ganze war mit sehr viel Aufwand und Stress verbunden.
