The hotel sits in this sweet spot where you can grab an authentic pretzel from a local bakery in the morning, then wander over to the English Garden (which is absolutely massive, by the way) without needing public transport. Parking can be tricky in this part of the city, but the hotel has sorted that out with a garage – it’s not cheap, but honestly, what is in Munich’s center? The real bonus is how quiet the rooms are considering you’re surrounded by city life. I was expecting traffic noise all night, but their windows must be excellent because I slept straight through.
