You know what caught me off guard about Central Hotel-Apart München? The name actually tells you everything you need to know – it’s properly central, and honestly, the apart-hotel setup works way better than I expected. I mean, when you’re dealing with Munich’s crazy accommodation prices, finding a 3-star place that gives you apartment-style space without the tourist trap vibe is pretty solid.

The whole setup feels like someone took a regular apartment building and just… made it work for travelers. Your room comes with a little kitchenette – nothing fancy, but enough to make your own coffee in the morning (which, let’s be real, saves you from hunting down an open café at 7 AM). The furniture’s that practical IKEA-ish style that actually holds up well, and there’s proper storage space, which is huge if you’re staying more than a couple nights. I honestly appreciated having a real table to spread out my stuff instead of trying to work from some tiny hotel desk. The Wi-Fi’s reliable too, which matters more than people admit.

What really sold me on this place was how it sits in the city. You’re not stuck out in some business district wondering how to get anywhere – you can actually walk to the stuff you want to see, but you’re also not dealing with the chaos of being right on Marienplatz. The neighborhood has that lived-in Munich feel, with proper bakeries and local spots mixed in with the tourist essentials. Parking’s always a nightmare in Munich’s center, but they’ve got options that won’t completely destroy your budget. The S-Bahn connections are solid from here, so even if you want to hit up places like Nymphenburg or take a day trip to the mountains, you’re not adding an hour of commute time. Check-in was straightforward – no weird complications or surprise fees that some places spring on you. The staff actually knows the area well enough to give you real recommendations instead of just handing you a generic tourist map. With an 8.1 rating, it’s clearly doing something right, and I get it. It’s not trying to be some luxury experience, but for the price point and location, it delivers exactly what you need without the pretense.

  Simple, clean, comfortable. Easy check-in, also after hours. Helpful staff. Excellent location next to subway and beautiful baroque church. My first stay and I am looking forward to return.

  I stayed here for Oktoberfest. I had to book last minute as the Ibis along the road cancelled my booking the week before. However, it was a really good room with kitchen facilities and fridge. Better than the IBIS. Price was OK considering it was a last minute booking during Oktoberfest. 10 minute walk to the train station and then it is a direct train into the city centre.

  Located right near the train station, about 20 mins trip to city centre. Not much going on in the suburb but if you want to save money while at Oktoberfest it does the job. Everything was clean and well sized, only complaint was there is no air conditioning, only a small fan so if you run hot that could be an issue.

  Great location, very quiet and easy to find. The connection with public transport is excellent, tram and metro available in just 2-3min walk. Staff was helpful, funny and polite. Room was decent, had everything needed.
  
  What could be improved: The price was almost doubled than normally, due to lot of concerts in the city.

  Breakfast were good, there were many options to choose from and nice ladies serving the breakfast. Also balcony was perfect for the hot weather. Most important for me was location and check-in at 2pm (some hotels have 3pm check-in). Hotel has a garden so you have nice view at the breakfast or a place where you can sit in the evening, you feel like in forest. Also hotel is in the nice neighbourhood, it feels safe and like home, with U-Bahn and Tram near by. I reccomend It!
  
  What could be improved: Prize was higher because of the Adele concert. I think the prizes are usually lower in this hotel.
  There was church ringing in the morning, but that's not that big deal..
