What I love about staying here is that you’re right in the heart of Schwabing-Freimann, and trust me, this location is something special. The couples who stay here consistently rate it 9.4 out of 10, and after spending time in the area, I totally get why. You’re walking distance from the English Garden (which is massive, by the way), and the U-Bahn station at Münchner Freiheit is literally around the corner. The neighborhood has this perfect mix of traditional Bavarian charm and modern Munich energy — cafes, bookshops, and those little galleries that you stumble upon by accident.

The Room

The room design follows Bob W’s signature style — clean lines, smart use of space, and everything you actually need without the unnecessary frills. What struck me most was how they’ve managed to create this cozy atmosphere while keeping everything functional. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and there’s enough storage space that you don’t feel like you’re living out of a suitcase. The bathrooms are compact but well-designed, and honestly, the shower pressure is better than what I have at home.

Morning Routine

The continental breakfast here is — well, it’s continental breakfast, but they do it right. Fresh bread, good coffee, and enough variety that you won’t get bored if you’re staying multiple nights. I actually found myself looking forward to it, which doesn’t always happen at hotels. The breakfast area has this relaxed vibe where you can take your time, and the staff doesn’t hover around trying to clear your table every five minutes. Plus, having private parking at the hotel is honestly a game-changer if you’re driving in Munich — finding a spot in Schwabing can be a real headache otherwise.

You get a solid, comfortable base in one of Munich’s most interesting neighborhoods without paying premium prices.   Lovely neighbourhood and central to where my event was. Room absolutely adequate for my needs.

  The room was functional, and the essentials were there. The hotel is located in a convenient part of town with public transport near by, and many attractions within walking distance (subject to personal ability and preference).
  
  What could be improved: There was no space for luggage in the room, which made things a little tight, but for a weekender, it's fine, especially if you do not intend to spend much time there. Self-check-in took some getting used to, especially since the front door opening function did not always work – luckily, we could always walk through the cafe/restaurant on the ground floor, which also served as a nice spot for a night cap.

  Breakfast, for us was self-paid. It's always in the adjoining French Bistro. Always very good…. also very good but a tad small were the cappuccinos. The rooms are pretty great. Our TV didn't work late one evening and the guy at the desk did everything possible to find batteries for the remote. It graciously brought it to the room when he found batteries. Excellent service.
  
  What could be improved: My one complaint is a lack of any storage whatsoever. No doubt, it's part of how they can provide a nice room, in a good part of town for the price.

  Room was really well designed with great interior design features, a cute sofa, very comfortable bed with perfect pillows and TV. We were using this stay after a long period of travel and really enjoyed one night decompressing and watching Netflix. The location came well recommended from a local friend with a superb restaurant located just below. Without a reservation we arrived late in the evening on a Friday and managed to immediately be seated for the most wonderful evening dinner. We also had breakfast there the next morning which was equally brilliant. The staff were lovely with easy check in and check out.
  
  What could be improved: unfortunately there are no coffee or tea facilities within the room which was a disappointment, added to which the room had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. The hand cream was empty, and the vanity kit had been used by someone before us.

  Clean very modern hotel. Very centrally located in the cool upscale Schwabing area of Munich. Melanie, the receptionist, was super helpful and friendly. Next door boasts a truly gourmet french restaurant le Petite Fritz, which also makes an exceptional breakfast for the hotel.
  
  What could be improved: No fridge, no water heater or coffee maker, no safe. Its a bit of a stripper, but it's super well designed
