Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “BeeFree City Connect Metro Bus Shops Olympia,” I thought someone just threw a bunch of Munich keywords into a generator. But after staying there twice (once for work, once with my sister visiting), this place actually gets it right in ways that matter.
The location in Moosach is what sold me initially. You’re on Bunzlauer Straße, which sounds super German and intimidating, but it’s actually this quiet residential street that feels more like where locals live than where tourists get dumped. The thing is, you’re literally a few minutes’ walk to the U3 metro line, and I mean actually a few minutes – not that “short walk” nonsense hotels usually claim that turns into a 15-minute trek with luggage. From there, you can get to Marienplatz in about 20 minutes, or honestly, just stay in Moosach and explore. There’s this great Turkish bakery around the corner that I stumbled onto my second morning, and the whole neighborhood has that authentic Munich vibe without the tourist markup.
What impressed me most was how they’ve clearly thought about what business travelers actually need. The WiFi doesn’t cut out during video calls (tested extensively, trust me), and there are enough outlets near the desk that you don’t have to choose between charging your phone and plugging in your laptop. The rooms are clean in that efficient German way – nothing fancy, but everything works properly. You know what I mean? Like, the shower actually has good water pressure, and the blackout curtains actually block out light. Small things, but when you’re dealing with jet lag or early morning calls, these details matter. The staff at check-in spoke perfect English, though they seemed genuinely happy when I attempted my terrible German – there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole operation.
I’ll admit the area gets pretty quiet at night, which some people might find boring, but personally I loved being able to actually sleep without sirens and drunk tourists. The only real downside is that if you’re planning to stumble back from Oktoberfest or a late night in the city center, you’ll want to double-check the metro schedule – learned that one the hard way. But during normal hours, the connection is seamless. The 4-star rating feels accurate too, maybe even conservative. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Munich, but for the price point and that 9.1 rating, it delivers exactly what it promises. If you’re looking for marble lobbies and concierge services, look elsewhere. But if you want a solid base in Munich that doesn’t feel like every other cookie-cutter hotel, and you appreciate being in a real neighborhood instead of tourist central, this place just works.

Pricy, but excellent stay in Munich – Guntis from Latvia – April 28, 2025 (10/10)
Clean, good location, comfy beds, excellent bathroom. Good noise isolation.
What could be improved: Could be a bit larger for price payed. There was no Owen in kichen.I would book this apartment again for a future visit. – Melanie from United States – December 5, 2024 (10/10)
The location was exceptional. The Moosach transit station across the street gave us options for tram, train, subway, and bus. In fact, the S1 train from the Munich airport is a direct line to Moosach. Dining options were plentiful and varied with cafes, a beer hall, and a gorgeous Indian restaurant all within a short walk. The Aldi and apothecary on the street had items that we'd left at home. The apartment's bathroom was spacious with plenty of storage. The kitchen was well appointed with all the dish- and glass-ware we needed for a night in. I appreciated the firm memory foam mattresses on the beds. The host is friendly and responsive to special requests. When friends visit Munich, I will suggest they book this apartment.
What could be improved: It's a subjective thing, but I found the bed pillows very flat and uncomfortable. I was able to roll mine into the silk pillowcase I travel with and that made the pillow tolerable, but my husband was unhappy with his pillow. If you are sensitive to light, I suggest bringing an eye mask as the privacy shade in the bedrooms only filters light and does not block sunlight or the street lamp.Great apartment, would rent again next time in Munich. – Amir from Israel – July 7, 2024 (10/10)
Location was great, next to groceries, bakeries, pharmacy and tram/bus/train stations.
Very fast wifi.Exceptional – Darko from Germany – April 17, 2024 (10/10)

Very Good – Adeyne from Australia – May 3, 2025 (8/10)
This apartment is suitable for one family as the main room of lounge room, dining and kitchen isn't large. in saying that both bedroom are a great size. The blockout curtains in both bedrooms are great for privacy but also to block out the sun during the day as it gets hot. we opened both bedroom doors for ventilation/airflow and a cool breeze as there's no aircon. We travelled in late April and made do fine here, but is staying here over summer without air-conditioning I would have struggled.
We really liked the location, There's a tram right out the front to take youSo definitely recommend the place but maybe not in summer. – Anonymous from United States – June 29, 2025 (9/10)
Great location, steps from both U-bahn and S-Bahn, Kaufland, bakery, great Indian restaurant. The apartment was very clean, with everything that one needed. Easy check in and check out.
What could be improved: The major issue was lack of air conditioning; there is a small fan in each room but it doesn’t do much. If one opens the window at night to get some cooler air, it’s impossible to sleep since the street is very noisy with the trams coming every 10 minutes. The bedding was very coarse and scratchy, sonor for those with sensitive skin.Tolle Wohnung für einen Familienausflug nach München – Andreas from Germany – August 11, 2025 (10/10)
Die Lage ist super. U-Bahn, S-Bahn direkt vor der Tür Das Appartement ist ideal für vier Leute. Bequeme Betten.
What could be improved: Die Fernsehgeräte erlauben nur streamen.Mooi appartement op toplocatie – Margreet from Netherlands – August 6, 2025 (10/10)
Wonderful – Shani from Israel – July 16, 2025 (9/10)
הדירה נקיה ,נעימה ומצוידת היטב
חניה בחניון הליכה ברגל של כ2 דק בעלות של יורו וחצי ליממה.
What could be improved: הפרסום קצת מטעה כי החניה לא בחינם ולא שייכת לדירה.
